In Memory of Donna Kay Roberts

Donna Kay Roberts, daughter of the late Robert C. Crow Sr. and Helen Cox Crow, was born on June 21, 1949 in Essex, Missouri, and departed this life on March 17, 2023, at Mulberry Manor in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 73 years.

Mrs. Roberts was a graduate of beauty school and a former secretary for Bloomfield Schools. She was a member of Duck Creek Church and a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri. She loved her flowers and always kept her yard looking nice, she loved to travel, especially to Branson, and she loved her grandchildren. Donna was passionate about taking care of children that were less fortunate. Over the years, she blessed many by providing them with clothing and food.

She was first united in marriage to Ronald E. Jackson on June 15, 1968. Mr. Jackson preceded her in death on January 27, 2000. She was then united in marriage to Al Roberts on March 3, 2000. Mr. Roberts survives of their home in Bloomfield.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Kelly Moreno and husband Edward of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Jill Allen and husband Chad of Bloomfield, Missouri; by two step-sons, Rob Roberts and wife Linda of Puxico, Missouri, and Jerry Roberts and wife Jamie of Sikeston, Missouri; by two brothers, Phillip Crow and Terry Crow, both of Dexter, Missouri; by six grandchildren, Whitney LaFoy (Paxton), Briana Matos (Francisco), Courtney Frazier (Logan), Harley Kluender (Jaret), Rylee Miner (Ethan), and Jackson Allen; by seven great-grandchildren, Olivia Matos, Rey Matos, Chase Matos, Asher Matos, Kellan Caldwell, Paisley Frazier, and Ava Frazier; and by three step-grandchildren, John Roberts, Danielle Roberts, and Hannah Roberts.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Crow.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, March 19, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.

Memorial may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 9370 Olive Blvd, St Louis MO 63132-3253.

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is assisting with arrangements.
