Charles Ray England, 78, of Arbor passed away Friday, January 13, 2023

He was born February 12, 1944 in Painton, Mo. to Ida (Hitt) and Troy England.  He was united in marriage on July 1, 1985 to Patrice O’Mara who proceeded him in death 2 months earlier.

Charles graduated from Delta school in 1962 and spent most of his life as a self employed carpenter.  He enjoyed fishing and taking care of the pond on his property.  He was known as the unofficial “Mayor of Arbor” and enjoyed visiting with all of his family, friends and neighbors.

He is survived by his son, Michael England of Benton, KY, his brother Robert (Patricia) England of Advance, his stepdaughter April McFerron of Advance, his niece Tracy (Roger) Slinkard of Advance, two grandchildren, Whitney McFerron (Vincent Oliver) of Lille, France and Matthew McFerron of St. Louis.  He will be missed by many other family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Monday, January 16th at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance at 2:00 pm followed by a service at 3:00 pm. 

Burial will take place at a later date at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Tillman.
