Ronnie Gene Williams, son of the late Wretha Mae Cobb Minton and Joe Robert Williams was born on September 24, 1955, in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on November 16, 2022, at his residence in Bernie at the age of 67.
Ronnie attended the New Beginning’s Church in Malden, Missouri. He was an avid musician that could play any instrument. He enjoyed playing the blues, with his band, The Reals. He had worked as a truck driver with his brother at Donnie Williams Trucking.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Baker and husband Gary Baker Jr. of Bernie, Missouri; by his son, Mark Williams of Bernie, Missouri; by four brothers, Robert Williams of Barstow, California, David Williams of Holcomb, Missouri, Donnie Williams of Dexter, Missouri, and Ricky Williams of Parma, Missouri; by five sisters, Carol Lacey of Scott City, Missouri, Barbara Joe of St. Louis, Missouri, Peggy Weems of Malden, Missouri, Ann Weems of Morrisville, Tennessee, and Patricia Chance of Bernie, Missouri; and by three grandchildren, Katelyn Baker, Morgan Baker and Landri Baker.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Williams Jr.; by three brothers, Randy Williams, Wayne Williams and Stevie Williams; and by three sisters, Joyce Moore, Mona Weems, and Betty Carol Williams.
A memorial service will be conducted the New Beginning’s Church in Malden, Missouri on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Larry Lacey officiating. Interment will follow in the Bernie City Cemetery.

Melba Hyslop Pate, daughter of the late Lyle Booker and Ressie Jones Booker, was born on November 2, 1954, in Altus, Oklahoma, and departed this life on November 14, 2022, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 68 years.
Mrs. Pate was the former owner of Melba’s Upholstery Shop in Houston, Texas and she was a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri. She loved animals and was a fun spirited, loving person.
On December 1, 2015, in Bloomfield, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Joe Pate. Mr. Pate preceded her in death on February 18, 2016.
She is survived by her grandson, Dustin Walker and wife Krystal of Bloomfield, Missouri; by her brother, Dewayne Booker; and by two sisters, Dixie Beck of Sikeston, Missouri, and Marilyn Witt of Magnolia, Texas.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Hyslop, and by her daughter, Christy Sunshine Hyslop.

Geraldine Harris of Bloomfield, Missouri, daughter of the late Harvey and Martha (Jennings) McRoy was born on October 3, 1938, in Bloomfield, Missouri, and passed away on November 9, 2022, in Bloomfield, Missouri, at the age of 84.
Geraldine lived in the Southeast Missouri area the majority of her life where she worked in the food service industry earlier in life and retired from Walmart in 2008 where she worked in the fabrics department. Her favorite pastime was cooking and spending time with family, especially her grand children. She also was an avid book reader and enjoyed talking on the phone to her friends. Geraldine was of the Christian Faith.
Geraldine married Samuel Harris on May 25, 1957, in Desoto County, Mississippi, and remained married until his passing in August of 1988.
Geraldine is survived by three sons, Mitchell (Linda) Harris of Bloomfield, Missouri, Greg (Paula) Harris of Jefferson City, Missouri, Kenneth (Monica) Harris of Clarksville, Tennessee; one daughter, Barbara (Roger) Bateman of Bloomfield, Missouri; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren as well as a host of family and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers, Alvin, Calvin, HM, Donald and Ronald; five sisters, Wilma, Eileen, Vivian, Velma and Virginia; and one great-granddaugher.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Travis Hendrix of Chaffee, Missouri, officiating and Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.
Interment will follow at Lick Creek Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Billy Wayne Parker, son of the late Ruben Earl Parker and Minnie Lenora Kinder Parker, was born in Bragg City, Missouri on April 2, 1939 and departed this life at Ridgeview Living Community in Malden, Missouri on November 10, 2022 at the age of 83.
Mr. Parker had worked at Federal Mogul in Malden, Missouri for 39 years. He was a resident of Malden.
He was united in marriage to Kathie Wilson in Bernie, Missouri on November 4, 1977. Mrs. Parker survives in their home in Malden, Missouri.
Other survivors include, one son, Billy Parker & wife Holly of Lakeview, Arkansas; by one daughter, Tammy Riddle & husband Ronnie of Kennett, Missouri; by two brothers, Wincle Parker & wife Nancy of Kennett, Missouri and Dale Parker & wife Billie Sue of Malden, Missouri; by three sisters, Margie Norman of Kennett, Missouri, Margret Allred and Vivian Anderson both of Malden, Missouri; by eight grandchildren, Eric Jarrett & wife Jacqueline, Heather Estes & husband Mitchell, Tori Parker, Tiffany Wiley, Hannah Burns & husband Kalen, Michael Jarrett, Colby Noel and Will Jarrett & wife Cassie; by eight great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death other than by his parents, by six brothers, Donal Parker, Danny Parker, Verlon Parker, Rondal Parker, Chalmer Parker and Norman Earl Parker; by three sisters, Faye Smith, Clora Taylor and one sister in infancy.

Kenneth Lee Irby, son of the late J.C. Irby and Judith Hill, was born in Charleston, Missouri on November 23, 1978, and departed this life in Ava, Missouri on November 7, 2022, at the age of 43 years.
Kenny worked as a welder in St. Louis, Missouri. He enjoyed going to the river and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his brother, Teddy Hill of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by two sisters, Susan Hill and Cheryl Dickson both of East Prairie, Missouri; by his ex-wives, Brenda Ray and Candice Caery; and by many nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his brother Keith Hill; and by his sister, Debbie Hill.
Visitation will be held at the First General Baptist Church in East Prairie on Sunday November 13, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
