In Memory of Billy Wayne Parker

Billy Wayne Parker, son of the late Ruben Earl Parker and Minnie Lenora Kinder Parker, was born in Bragg City, Missouri on April 2, 1939 and departed this life at Ridgeview Living Community in Malden, Missouri on November 10, 2022 at the age of 83.

Mr. Parker had worked at Federal Mogul in Malden, Missouri for 39 years. He was a resident of Malden.

He was united in marriage to Kathie Wilson in Bernie, Missouri on November 4, 1977. Mrs. Parker survives in their home in Malden, Missouri.

Other survivors include, one son, Billy Parker & wife Holly of Lakeview, Arkansas; by one daughter, Tammy Riddle & husband Ronnie of Kennett, Missouri; by two brothers, Wincle Parker & wife Nancy of Kennett, Missouri and Dale Parker & wife Billie Sue of Malden, Missouri; by three sisters, Margie Norman of Kennett, Missouri, Margret Allred and Vivian Anderson both of Malden, Missouri; by eight grandchildren, Eric Jarrett & wife Jacqueline, Heather Estes & husband Mitchell, Tori Parker, Tiffany Wiley, Hannah Burns & husband Kalen, Michael Jarrett, Colby Noel and Will Jarrett & wife Cassie; by eight great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death other than by his parents, by six brothers, Donal Parker, Danny Parker, Verlon Parker, Rondal Parker, Chalmer Parker and Norman Earl Parker; by three sisters, Faye Smith, Clora Taylor and one sister in infancy.

Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie, Missouri on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 12:00 Noon. With Rev. Carl Wilson officiating.

Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery. Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie is assisting with arrangements.

In Memory of Kenneth Lee Irby

Kenneth Lee Irby, son of the late J.C. Irby and Judith Hill, was born in Charleston, Missouri on November 23, 1978, and departed this life in Ava, Missouri on November 7, 2022, at the age of 43 years.

Kenny worked as a welder in St. Louis, Missouri. He enjoyed going to the river and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his brother, Teddy Hill of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by two sisters, Susan Hill and Cheryl Dickson both of East Prairie, Missouri; by his ex-wives, Brenda Ray and Candice Caery; and by many nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his brother Keith Hill; and by his sister, Debbie Hill.

Visitation will be held at the First General Baptist Church in East Prairie on Sunday November 13, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

In Memory of Ronald Joseph Kyle Sr.

Ronald Joseph Kyle Sr. of Williamsville, Missouri, the son of the late William and Edna (Hertzy) Kyle was born on January 24, 1938, in St. Louis, Missouri, and passed away on November 4, 2022, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 84.

Ronald worked in Law Enforcement as a Police Officer and Detective for the St. Louis Police department until his retirement. He also spent time around the Lake Wappapello area and was a member of The Knights Of Columbus 442, (4th degree) and the Eagles Lodge 4066.  

Ronald  is survived by two sons, Ronald Kyle, Jr. of Williamsville, Missouri, and Kevin Kyle of Humansville, Missouri; one sister, Bonnie Sue (Billy) Whitt of Hope Arkansas. A host of family and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Pamela Jean Krazer and one sister, Mildred Shelton.

Funeral  Service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins And Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico, Missouri, with Pastor Charles Robertson of Bloomfield, Missouri, officiating.

Interment will follow at the Presbyterian Methodist Cemetery in Festus, Missouri, with Watkins And Sons of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Bessie Louise Cooper, daughter of the late Alford Hill and Maxine Eldridge Hill, was born on April 19, 1949, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and departed this life on October 31, 2022, at her residence in Chaffee, Missouri, at the age of 73 years.

Mrs. Cooper was a former housekeeper.

She was united in marriage to John Cooper. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1987.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Love of Drumright, Oklahoma; by two sisters, Betty Vaughn of Chaffee, Missouri, and Rose West of Tyler, Texas; and by three grandchildren, Autumn Love, Zachrey Love, and Dontae Love.

Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jamie Cooper; by four brothers, Freddie Hill, John Hill, Bobby Hill, and Arthur Hill; and by four sisters, Anna Burleson, Dora Mae Burleson, Glenda Starnes, and Wilma Fite.

A memorial service will be conducted at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri on Friday, November 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.

Mary Ellen Collier, daughter of the late LT Williams and Helen Porter Williams was born on December 18, 1946, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed of this life on November 2, 2022, at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing, in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 75 years.

Mary was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Dexter and a resident of Dexter. She had worked at the Florsheim shoe factory, she was a former EMT at Fitch Funeral Home, a recreational therapist for the Veteran’s hospital in Poplar Bluff, an employee for Walmart, and a cook at Dexter Hospital. She was a member of the Dexter Elks Lodge and the Southeast Health Ladies Auxiliary in Dexter.

On December 16, 1988, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Clifton Collier. He preceded her in death on January 22, 2011.

She is survived by her daughter, Frankie Spannaus, wife of Darren of Glendale Arizona; by one grandson, Dane Spannaus of Glendale Arizona; and by extended family, Shelley & Brian McClintock, Mark McClintock & finance Ashley Hester, Sara & Chad Owens, Emily Hester, Eyan McClintock, Paisley Owens, Emery McClintock, Ely McClintock, & Charley Owens.

Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard Franklin Williams.

No services are planned.
