In Memory of Judy Anette Wheetley Miller

Judy Anette Wheetley Miller, daughter of the late Robert and Edith Cox Wheetley, was born December 27, 1946, in Kinder, Missouri, and departed this life on August 31, 2022, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 75.

Ms. Miller attended The Cowboy Church in Puxico, Missouri until suffering a stroke in 2013. She then moved to Cypress Point where Judy was saved and became a child of God; her salvation was very important to her. The Saturday night gospel singing at Cypress Point was the highlight of her week.

Judy is survived by her son, Chris James, stepson, Allen James, and grandchildren; her brother, Marty Wheetley of Bowling Green; her sisters, Karen Franklin of Puxico, Missouri, Kentucky, Lynn Merriman of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Ilene Wade of Bloomfield, Missouri, Kathern Wheetley of Louisville, Kentucky; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Vivian Wheetley; brothers, Robert Wheetley, Harold Wheetley, Paul Wheetley and Kenneth Wheetley; and her stepdaughter, Sandra Gardner.

Per Judy’s wishes, there will be no viewing or services. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter is assisting with arrangements.
