Stanley John Litviak, son of the late Anthony Litviak and Genevieve (Glinski) Litviak, was born on January 11, 1950, in Doniphan, Missouri, and departed this life on June 25, 2022, at his residence in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 72 years.
Mr. Litviak was a former farm hand for CH Parsons and a former sawmill employee. He was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, being outdoors, and visiting with people.
On August 25, 1973, in Doniphan, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Kathryn Stevens. Mrs. Litviak preceded him in death on July 7, 1997.
He is survived by three nephews, Steve Litviak of Metamora, Illinois, Mike Litviak of Hillsboro, Missouri, and James Wilson of Doniphan, Missouri; by four nieces, Liz Schroeder of Grandin, Missouri, Amy Palmer of Oak Ridge, Missouri, Theresa Blackburn of Aurora, Missouri, and Patricia Limbaugh of Grandin, Missouri; by several great nieces and nephews; and by his beloved dog, Freddie.
Other than by his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Litviak; and by his sister, Gloria Wilson.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m.
Graveside services will then be conducted on Friday, July 1, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Walker Cemetery in rural Bloomfield, Missouri.
