Marilyn Irene York, daughter of the late John Crews and Lou Edna Haislip Crews, was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on May 8, 1953 and departed at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff on June 21, 2022 at the age of 69.

Mrs. York was a homemaker, was of Non-Denominational Faith and a resident of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to Roy Melvin York in Bernie, Missouri on July 22, 1974. Mr. York survives his wife in their home in Bernie.

Other survivors include one daughter, Amy Wilson & husband Daniel of Bernie, Missouri; by one granddaughter, Stephanie Wilson; by several nieces and nephews; by many extended adopted family, which wasn’t related, but considered family; also by other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents, by two brothers, Allen Crews and Jerry Crews; by three sisters, Wanda McKlintic, Shelby Vert and Helen Crafford.

A Celebration of Life is being planned by the family at a later date.
