2022 DHS Sports Senior Night Spotlight Featuring Taylor Condict

Dexter, MO - The Dexter Bearcat Baseball Team celebrated Senior Recognition Day on Wednesday, April 27th hosting the Sikeston Bulldogs.

Taylor Condict is the son of Robert and Krystal Condict.

He is a member of the football and baseball teams and Sr. Beta Club.

His future plans are to attend Southeast Missouri State University - Cape Girardeau.

His most memorable moment at Dexter High School during baseball season was winning the Stoddard County Tournament his senior year.

2022 DHS Senior Sports Night Featuring Lexi Laramore

Dexter, MO - The Dexter Lady Bearcats recognized their seniors on Tuesday, April 26th hosting the Ellington Whippets.  

Lexi Laramore is the daughter of Jody and Pam Laramore.

She has participated in volleyball all four years of high school and came out this year in her first year as a varsity softball player.

Lexi is a member of the Sr. Beta Club, National Honors Society, DECA, Rotary Interact Club, and FCCLA.

Her future plans are to attend Southeast Missouri State University - Cape Girardeau and earn a degree in childhood education.

Her most memorable moment in softball was beating the county champions, Advance, on Friday.

Her future plans are to attend Fontbonne University and obtain a degree in nursing.

Her most favorite memory in softball was beating the county champions, Advance, Friday night.

2022 DHS Sports Senior Night Spotlight - Drake Channell

Dexter, MO - The Dexter High School Boys Tennis Team recognized senior Drake Channell on Monday, April 25th.

Drake Channell is the son of Chris Channell and Kelli Channell.

He played basketball for one year and tennis all four years of high school.  He is also a member of the DHS Choir and has been for two years.

His future plans after graduation are to go to State Tech to study Server Networking.

After the tennis match against Cape Central the tennis team celebrates with a cake for Channell.

2022 SCAA JH Baseball Tournament Seeds Released

The 2022 Stoddard County Athletic Association (SCAA) Junior High Baseball Tournament seeds have been released.

Bernie earned the #1 seed and a bye in the first round.

Dexter received the #2 seed followed by #3 Woodland, #4 Bloomfield, #5 Puxico, and #6 Advance.

Dexter also received a bye in the first round.

Bloomfield will play Puxico on Saturday, April 30th at 10:00 a.m. at Bloomfield.

Woodland will play Advance also on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Woodland

On Monday, Bernie will host the winner of the Bloomfield/Puxico game at 4:30 p.m.

Also on Monday at 4:30 p.m. Dexter will host the winner of Woodland/Advance 

Third place game will be on Tuesday, May 3rd at 4:30 p.m. at the higher seed.

Championship will also be on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at the higher seed location.
