Mary Myrtle Deloris Litchfield, 81, of Cabot, Arkansas, died Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at her home. She was born December 11, 1940, in Fairdealing, Missouri, to Charley and Mary Phillips.
She was united in marriage to Claude Litchfield on September 21, 1956, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. They had five children to this union; one son, Carrol Litchfield, and four daughters, Carolyn Lance, Debra Herman, Dorothy Metcalf, and Alecha Robinson. Mary has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she will be loved and missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, by her parents, by her daughter, Debra Herman, by four brothers; and by one sister.
Mary was well known for her seam stressing and many other crafts she made. When she wasn’t crafting or sewing, she would be spending quality time with her family. Her family will remember her as a kind-hearted woman who lived by her faith in God. Through her faith she found strength which would see her through anything.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Teal officiating.
Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery.
