The SEMO Doubles Tournament was held on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University on Friday, March 25, 2022.
It is a round-robin doubles tournament. The teams participating were Dexter, Jackson, Notre Dame, and Sikeston.
It is a flighted tournament, so #1 doubles teams from each school face #1 teams from the other teams. #2s play #2s and #3s play #3s.
Dexter played Jackson in the first round.
#1 Peyton Boles/Lawson Blocker lost to Nolan Dry/Cameron Crawford in a third set tie break: 7-5, 4-6, 5-10
#2 Drake Channell/Cooper Worley lost to Gage Shearon/Drew Miller 2-6, 2-6
#3 Logan Jones/Drew Chamberlain lost to Will Petzoldt/Rylan Martin 2-6, 3-6
The Bearcats played Notre Dame in the second round.
#1 Peyton Boles/Lawson Blocker lost to Stephen Southard/Elijah Youngblood 0-6, 0-6
#2 Drake Channell/Cooper Worley lost to Charles West/Gavin Hardin 0-6, 0-6
#3 Logan Jones/Drew Chamberlain lost to Matthew Austin/Blake Schreckenberg in a third set tie break 1-6, 6-4, 4-10
Dexter played Sikeston in the third round.

#2 Drake Channell/Cooper Worley defeated Levi Douglas/Noah Mason 6-4, 6-2
#3 Logan Jones/Drew Chamberlain defeated Leo Huang/Ben Gilmore 7-6 (7-4), 6-4
"We are already seeing very good improvement in all of our doubles teams," commented Eric Boles, Dexter High School tennis coach. "The freshmen and new players are starting to get more comfortable on the courts playing at a varsity level and working with a partner. I am proud that all three doubles teams got their first doubles wins of the season, and some were very close to getting multiple wins today."
Dexter will host Potosi on Tuesday, March 29th.
