
Lela Rose Douglas of Advance, Missouri born to the late Charles Franklin and Myrtle Mae (Scritchfield) Gallamore on November 02, 1937 in Chionia, Missouri and passed away on December 22, 2021 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 84 years.
Lela married William H. Douglas Jr. on December 21, 1968 in Lowndes, Missouri. Lela lived in the Stoddard County area most of her life, she also lived in Bowling Green, Kentucky and Saint Louis, Missouri. She was a nurse’s aid for many years at the Bowling Green Kentucky Medical Center. She loved to embroider. She loved her family with all of her heart.
Lela is survived by her husband William H. Douglas Jr.; two daughters Paula (Chad) Price of Bloomfield and Leah Price of Dexter, Missouri; two grandchildren Boomer (Amber) Price of Brownwood, Missouri and Grover (Lyndsea) Price of Brownsville, Kentucky; two great grandchildren Emma Lynn Price and Ellie Jordan Price; two sisters Melba Barks-Sanders of Sullivan, Missouri and Verna (Joe) Skaggs of Marble Hill, Missouri; very close and special friends Theresa DeBretto, Gabriel and Callie Stumbaugh. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Myrtle Gallamore; one brother Charles Gallamore; two sisters Joyce McGee and Deanna Metz. A host of family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be on Monday December 27, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday December 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Franklin Radford of Greenville, Missouri.
Interment will follow in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri. With Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.

Ronald Gene Deck, age 82, of Somerset, KY formerly of, St. Charles, MO departed from this life December 20, 2021 at his home. He was born in Stoddard County, MO on December 13, 1939 to the late Opal Leona Teets and Marvin Lee Deck.
Mr. Deck worked at General Motors in St. Louis, MO for 22 years and transferred to the Corvette Plant in Bowling Green, Ky in 1980. He retired from General Motors in 1988. Mr. Deck enjoyed bowling, square dancing and traveling. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Sherry Ann Battle of Wentzville, MO; Tamyara Lynn Deck of St. Charles, MO; one sister, Wendell Lou Mulvaney (Jerry) of Branston, MO; special friend, Doris Pitts of Somerset, Ky; and granddaughters, Jessica and Jamie Yust of Wentzville, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Lowell Griffin (Delores) of Advance, MO and Bobby Dean Deck; sister, Geraldine Hollis (Leon) of Hines, OR.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 6 to 8 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Services in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Dorothy Marcell Greenhaw Young, age 85, of Corinth, Mississippi, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 21 , 2021, at Mississippi Care Center after an extended illness. A celebration of her life is planned for Thursday, December 23, 2021, 2 PM in The Chapel at Corinthian Funeral Home with Marty Young and Bro. G.W. Childs officiating. Interment will follow in the Fraley’s Chapel Cemetery.
Born in Corinth, Mississippi, on October 13, 1936, she was the daughter of J.R. and Nellie Greenhaw.
She married her husband, Kenneth Young, and raised their boys together. She fulfilled her role of a Christian wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She taught her family to love and serve others. She attended Fraley’s Chapel Church of Christ and retired from the Magnolia Hosiery Mill
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.R. and Nellie Greenhaw, her husband, Kenneth Young, and a brother, Orlando Greenhaw.
Those to carry on her memory include her children: Mike Young (Janet), Marty Young (Christine), Grandchildren: Mickey Young (Amanda), Chase Young (Morgan), Chandler Young, Joseph Pickens, and Braelyn Pickens, Great-Grandchildren: Brady Young, and Drew Young, brother-in-law Gene Young, and sister-in-laws Gloria Greenhaw and Margie Young
Visitation will begin at noon on Thursday and continue until time for the service.
Pallbearers will be: Mickey Young, Chase Young, Chandler Young, Joseph Pickens, and Mike Moore

William “Bill” Linus Casey Jr., son of the late William Casey Sr. and Ella Masterson Casey was born on July 5, 1943, in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on December 20, 2021, at Winchester Nursing in Bernie, Missouri, at the age of 78 years.
Mr. Casey was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. He was a former mechanic for Edd Eubanks Trucking Company in Dexter, Missouri, and he was a resident of Dexter.
He is survived by his long-time companion of 18 years, Wilma Rodgers of Dexter, Missouri, by his son, Brian Casey of Dexter, Missouri; by two brothers, Charles Casey of Dexter, Missouri and David Casey of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; by three sisters, Mary Lou Miller of Dexter, Missouri, Janice Henderson of Brownsville, Texas and Clara Green of Puxico, Missouri.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Dean Casey.
No services are currently planned.

Noah James Smith of Essex, Missouri son of Christopher “Chris” Lee and Kirsten Faith (Bronander) Smith passed away on December 19, 2021.
Noah is survived by his parents Chris and Kirsten Smith; two brothers Andrew Smith of Essex, Missouri and Kezden Smith of Essex, Missouri; one sister Mackenzie Smith of Essex, Missouri; several Aunts, uncles and cousins; paternal grandparents Greg and Zenita Smith of Essex, Missouri and maternal grandparents Paul and Debbie Bronader of Festus, Missouri. A host of family also survives Noah.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday December 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the New Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Brother Ian Crump of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the New Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri.
