
Susan Newell of Puxico, Missouri born to the late Henry and Maxine Boyt on January 07, 1939 in Flint, Michigan passed away on November 03, 2021, with close friends by her side, in Puxico, Missouri at the age of 82 years.
Susan was married to Ernest Newell on March 17, 1987 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She lived in the Puxico, Missouri area for over 30 years, she also lived in Decatur, Illinois and Peoria, Illinois. She was of the Christian Cherokee Faith. Susan was an avid animal lover and rarely met a stranger with four legs and fur. She was proud of her Cherokee ancestors, making many beautiful native works celebrating her heritage across her lifetime.
Susan is survived by one daughter Beverly (Russell) VanRheeden of Decatur, Illinois; one son Jon Anthony Heise of Wappapello, Missouri; three grandchildren Andy VanRheeden, Jason VanRheeden and Sarah (Ryan) Vankirkley, MA of Decatur, Illinois; three great grandsons Kendrick, Corbin and Joshua all of Decatur, Illinois; one brother Byron Lawson. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Maxine Boyt. A host of family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 01, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday December 01, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri with Chaplain Keith Luke of Poplar Bluff, Missouri officiating.
Interment to follow at the Wappapello Cemetery in Wappapello, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.

Lisa Jean Bell daughter of the late James Bell Sr. and Elva Jean Stanfill Bell was born on November 1, 1964 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on November 25, 2021 at Southeast Health Center of Cape Girardeau at the age of 57.
Lisa ran convenience stores in the area and had most recently worked as a house parent for the Stoddard County Children’s Home. She was a resident of Bloomfield.
She is survived by her son, Justin Bell and wife McKenna of Bloomfield; by two grandchildren, Gaige Bell and Maebree Bell both of Bloomfield; by two brothers, David Bell of Bloomfield and James Bell Jr. of Bell City; and by one sister, Betty Sandage of Bloomfield.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Sarah Nicole Bell in infancy; and by one brother, Roy Bell.
Visitation will be conducted on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with Rev. Steve Koerner officiating.
Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery.

Billy Earl Vieth, son of the late Willie Earl Vieth and Helen Dawson Vieth, was born on January 1, 1941, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and departed this life on November 22, 2021, at his residence in Bernie, Missouri at the age of 80 years.
Mr. Vieth was a former farmer and raised cattle.
He is survived by his brother, Roger Vieth of Dexter, Missouri and by his sister, Peggy Cox of Houma, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery.

Franklin James of Dexter, Missouri was born to Donald Morris and the late Mary Herbst on February 13, 1989 in St. Louis, Missouri and on November 05, 2021 in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 32 years.
Frank had been a resident of Dexter, Missouri on and off his whole life. He has also lived in St. Louis, Missouri.
Surviving Franklin is his father Donald Lee Morris, one brother John Schatte of Maryville, Missouri; two sisters Maryann Morris of Dexter, Missouri and Natasha Schatte of Monett, Missouri; two cousins Tabitha Morris of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Terry Clark of Sikeston, Missouri; one nephew Elliott Morris.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary and one brother DJ Morris. A host of family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held on Monday November 29, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services to be held on Monday November 29, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.
Interment will be at a later date with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Donna Rae Young daughter of the late Earl and Cleo Malin Wood was born on August 11, 1935 in Malden, Missouri and departed this life on November 23, 2021 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 86.
Mrs. Young was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Dexter. She had operated a beauty shop and was also a homemaker. She loved helping at the different churches she had attended by teaching children’s Sunday school classes and playing the piano and organ. She also started the TOPS chapter in Dexter.
On October 10, 1955 she was united in marriage to Glenn Young in Hernando, Mississippi. Mr. Young survives of their home in Dexter.
Other then by her husband Glenn, she is survived by two daughters, Karen Robinson, and Ladon and husband Jeff Malloy both of Dexter; by one sister, Barbara Spitzer of Bernie; by four grandchildren, Michelle Malloy, Jeffery Malloy, Ryan Humphrey and James Robinson all of Dexter; and by five great-grandchildren, Seth Malloy, Austin Malloy, Jeffery Malloy, Melora McKay and Emelia Mckay all of Dexter.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Lindley and Elizabeth Ann Wood.
Visitation will be conducted on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from Noon until 2:00 p.m. in the Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Ron Williams officiating.
Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
