
Cape Girardeau, MO - The 2021 SEMO Conference Baseball Tournament times and locations have changed due to wet field conditions.
Originally Kennett and Poplar Bluff were going to host their games; however due to the heavy rains those games will now be played at Capaha Park in Cape Girardeau.
Seeds are #1 Kennett, #2 Jackson, #3 Poplar Bluff, #4 Cape Central, #5 Notre Dame, #6 Sikeston, #7 Dexter, and #8 NMCC.
Friday, April 30th Schedule:
12:00 p.m. Cape Central vs Notre Dame
2:15 p.m. Kennett vs New Madrid County Central
4:15 p.m. Jackson vs Dexter
6:30 p.m. Poplar Bluff vs Sikeston
Semifinal games will be played on Saturday, May 1st.
7th Place Monday, May 3rd at 11 a.m.
5th Place Monday, May 3rd at 1:15 p.m.
3rd Place Monday, May 3rd at 3:30 p.m.
Championship game will be Monday, May 3rd at 6 p.m.

Dexter, MO - The Swing Pink Softball Tournament has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 1, 2021. There will be nine softball teams competing in the 9th annual softball tournament! Last year's tournament was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Dexter, MO - Ryan Collier shot a match-best on senior night leading the Dexter Bearcats to a first place finish at Hidden Trails Country Club on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. He scored 1-under 35.
The Bearcats finished with 171, Notre Dame was second with 185 followed by Sikeston 199, and Kennett with 200.

Farmington, MO - The Dexter Bearcats golf team competed in the 14-team Crown Pointe Invitational Golf Tournament near Farmington on Monday, April 26, 2021. They shot 379 and finished eighth on a very windy afternoon.
Webster Groves won the tournament with 326 and Poplar Bluff finished second with 334.
Max Boland, of Webster Groves, won the tournament with a 2-over 74.
Dexter’s Ryan Collier was eighth with 82. Dylan Sitze finished with 89, Matt Hardin 97, and Alyssa Warren 111.
Dexter will play at home on Tuesday, April 27th in a snow make-up against Sikeston, Notre Dame, and Kennett.

Poplar Bluff, MO - The Mules Booster Club has named Olivia Carda and Joseph Hardimon the March Athletes of the Month, presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors.
Joseph, a senior basketball player, averaged 15.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, and made the All-Conference and All-District teams. He helped lead the team last month to district and sectional championships, before the Mules were named a state quarterfinalist. In the classroom, he maintains a 10.0 grade point average.
“JoJo has been a joy to coach. He is an extremely hard worker and selfless player,” said Will Durden, his coach. “This year he embraced the leadership role that was given to him and was instrumental in the team’s deep playoff run.”
Olivia, a sophomore soccer player, has earned 10 goals and three assists, making her the leading goal scorer thus far this season. Her GPA is 10.286.
“Olivia has a great attitude on and off the field and wants to become a great soccer player for the Mules, and potentially play at the collegiate level,” said Rusty Crafton, her coach. “She has the will and determination to do just that and [I] look forward to seeing what the future holds for her.”
