Barbara Ellen Elsworth, daughter of the late William E. Winberry and Maggie Pardon Winberry was born in Malden, Missouri on August 9, 1940 and departed this life at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri on November 23, 2019 at the age of 79.

Mrs. Elsworth was a homemaker and lived in Dexter, Missouri.

She was united in marriage to Hershel Elsworth at Valley View Heights, Illinois on December 22, 1962.  Mrs. Elsworth preceded his wife in death on June 28, 2006.

Other survivors include two sons, Joie Elsworth & wife Robin of Harviell, Missouri and Timothy Ray Elsworth & wife Susan of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by four daughters, Denita Green of North Carolina, Patricia Hayes of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Karen Clow and Pamela Wilson both of Dexter, Missouri; by one brother, Shelby Winberry of Independence, Missouri; by one sister Shirley Hefner of Patterson, Missouri, by seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two Great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband; by three brothers, J.D. Winberry, Billy Winberry and Willie Winberry; by two sisters, June Blair and Josie Young.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie starting at 2:00 P.M.  Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery.
