Donna Joann Tilley, daughter of the late William “Bill” Ashby and Berniece Goines Ashby was born on November 26, 1952 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on November 22, 2019 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 66.
Mrs. Tilley attended the The Bridge Ministries Church in Kennett. She had worked at Brown Shoe Company and was a resident of Sikeston.
On June 11, 1982 she was united in marriage to Dale Tilley in Stoddard County, Missouri. Mr. Tilley preceded her in death on September 27, 2019.
She is survived by two sons, David and wife Crystal Andrews of Jackson, Missouri and Greg and wife Mary Andrews of Sikeston, Missouri; by one brother, Arlen and wife Janet Hobbs of Kennett, Missouri; by seven grandchildren, Britney Garcia, Taylor Andrews, Kylie Andrews, Kinadie Andrews, Emma Andrews, Savanna Wells and Leeanna Pugh and by five great-grandchildren, Eli, Aidan, RJ, David and Coraline.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Tinsley and one sister in infancy, Brenda Ashby.

Ophelia Beane, daughter of the late Luciaus Johnson and Ioda Wheeler Johnson, was born in Rector, Arkansas on November 19, 1934 and departed this life at Southeast Health of Stoddard County, Dexter, Missouri on November 20, 2019 at the age of 85.
Mrs. Beane had worked at IXL and Swift during her life. She was a Homemaker, a resident of Bernie and a member of Word of Faith Family in Bernie.
She was united in marriage to Mitchell Beane in Piggott, Arkansas on October 4, 1952. Mr. Beane preceded his wife in death on February 14, 1999.
Survivors include five sons, Lawrence James Beane of South Bend, Indiana, Terry James Beane of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, Jimmy Lee Beane of Jacksonville, Florida, Anthony Jerome Beane of Dekalb, Illinois and Steve Beane of New Madrid, Missouri; by six daughters, Glendale O’Neal of LaPorte, Indiana, Dorothy Austin of Richmond, Texas, Bobbie Joe Davis, Patricia Ann Scott, Deloris Davis and Angela Denis Roberts all of South Bend, Indiana; by three special nieces raised as daughters, Gena Beatrice McKiney and Valeria Jane Wheeler both of Kennett, Missouri and Debra Darlene Wheeler of South Bend, Indiana; by one brother Bobby Johnson of Flint, Michigan; by one sister, Mary L. Johnson of Portageville, Missouri; by thirty Grandchildren, Numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren; also by other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by one son in infancy, Derry Mitchell Beane; by one special niece she had raised, Vanessa Bradford; by five sisters and by one grandchild.
Friends may call at Word of Faith Family Church in Rural Bernie, Missouri on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
Funeral services will then be conducted at Word of Faith Family starting at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Dale Hartle officiating.

Harold Eugene Miller, son of the late George Dallas Miller and Rebecca Lea Conover Miller, was born on April 28, 1925 in Clarkton, Missouri and departed this life on November 20, 2019 at his residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 94 years.
Mr. Miller was a WWII veteran of the United States Army and a former farmer.
On December 7, 1962, in Dexter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Genevieve Tripp. Mrs. Miller survives of their home in Dexter.
In addition to his wife, Genevieve, he is survived by his daughter, Dianne Stanberry of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by his sister, Cinda Belle Temples of Dexter, Missouri; by two grandsons, Gary Ron Clark and Shawn Brian Clark; by several great-grandchildren; and by one great-great-grandchild.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Warren Miller and Bill Miller; by his sister, Georgia Singletary; and by his step-son, Larry Rievly.
Graveside services will be conducted at Dexter Cemetery on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 1:30 p.m.

Elmer Joseph Seyer, 89, of Oran, Missouri, died November 23rd, 2019, at the Chateau in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
He was born October 14th, 1930, in Advance, Missouri, son of Philip and Alvina Dohogne Seyer.
He married the only girl he ever loved, Susie Ann Cecilia Bucher, on April 16th, 1955, in New Hamburg, Missouri. They shared 64 years together.
Elmer graduated from Oran High School in 1949. He served as class president from 1946-1949. He was a member of the debate team. During that time Elmer was president of CYC, as well as having a dual role of player and coach for the CYC softball team.
Elmer was in the US ARMY during the Korean Conflict and was discharged as a sergeant.
Elmer’s leadership continued as he was president of the St. Joseph’s Men’s Club. He was a member of Guardian Angel Church and served on the parish council for 3 years.
He was also a Charter Member of the Oran Knights of Columbus Council 4311, serving as Grand Knight for 1 year.
Elmer coached Little League Baseball for 9 years.
He was also dedicated to promoting education and served on the Oran Public School Board for 12 years and during that time served as president for 3 years.
Elmer’s passion in life was farming. In 1973, his family received the Missouri Farm Family of the Year. He was also a member of the University of Missouri Extension Council, serving as president of the organization for 2 years.
Elmer sang at many weddings. He was also a member of the OCD Club-“Oran Coffee Drinkers’ Club” and kept a pulse on the activity of the community. In his retirement years, Elmer loved to play cards, fish, play cards, work in the garden, play cards, shell pecans, play cards, watch sports, and play cards.
Elmer taught his children and anyone who would listen how to love and to work, so much so we have coined phrases called “Elmerisms”.
He was a great man of faith that trusted God in the good times and the bad. His life’s legacy is one that reflects that divine love and trust.
Survivors include his wife, 7 children, 26 grandchildren, and 48 great grandchildren, Claudette Hency (Jessica Carey, Michelle Rairigh, Jacob Hency), Ron and Fenena Seyer (Jonathan Seyer, Antonia Seyer, Cesia Watkins, Josiah Seyer), Loraine and Donnie Reischman (Rebecca Lester, James Reischman, Suzanne Anderson, Katherine Businaro, Sarah Seabaugh, Rachel O’Loughlin), Neal and Cindy Seyer (Philip Seyer, Matthew Seyer, Veronica Seyer, Chastity Tragesser, Casey Guzman), Tom and Sherry Seyer (Nathan Seyer, Amber Zito, Chase Seyer), Terry and Cindy Seyer (Caleb Seyer, Claire Kern), Patrick and Audrey Seyer (Hanna Grazyk, Alyson Roper, Shelbie McClard).
Elmer has 2 surviving siblings, Lawrence Seyer and Mary Woltering.
His parents, 8 siblings, and 2 grandchildren preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held at Guardian Angel Gymnasium, Tuesday, November 26th, 2019 from 4-8pm in Oran, Missouri. Parish prayers begin at 4pm followed by Knights of Columbus prayer service.
Funeral mass will be Wednesday, November 27th, 2019, at Guardian Angel Church, at 10am, in Oran, Missouri, with Father Randy Tochtrop officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery following mass.

Leona Hensley Merriman, age 86, of Fisk, Missouri, died Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Southeast Health Center of Stoddard Co. in Dexter, MO.
Mrs. Hensley was born June 17, 1933 in Morehouse, MO, daughter of the late William and Rhoda Hughes.
She was a member of the former Church of God in Fisk.
Before her health failed she enjoyed walking with her friend Irma Jennings.
On April 30, 1949 she married Howard Hensley.
He preceded her in death on January 9, 1993.
In January, 2006. She married Jesse Merriman. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons: Hassel Hensley (Paula) of Poplar Bluff and Basil Hensley (Connie) of Ellsinore; One daughter: Juanita Merriman (Layman) of Poplar Bluff; two step children: Gene Merriman (Jackie) of Poplar Bluff and Elaine Cox of Springfield, MO. One brother: Joe Hughes (Lou) of Morehouse; seven grandchildren and nine grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son: Edward and two sisters and one brother.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating.
