Martha Amanda Tucker, daughter of the late Otto Coffey and Edna Ruth Zile Coffey, was born on February 14, 1924 in Grayridge, Missouri and departed this life on July 21, 2019 at her residence in Grayridge at the age of 95 years.
Mrs. Tucker was a member of the Essex Church of Christ and a homemaker.
On July 7, 1945, in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Bert Tucker. Mr. Tucker preceded her in death on July 31, 2000.
She is survived by two daughters, Sondra Talkington and husband Danny of Grayridge, Missouri and Marilyn Johnson and husband Terry of Germantown, Tennessee; by her brother Lewis “Bud” Coffey of Dexter, Missouri; by two sisters Opal Short of Neelyville, Missouri and Jean Isbell of Dexter, Missouri; by four grandchildren, Keith Talkington of Cookeville, Tennessee, Kira Jones and husband Bruce of Chelsea, Alabama, Bryan Johnson and wife Erica of Germantown, Tennessee, and Courtney Tabeling and husband Chris of Nashville, Tennessee; by seven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Curt Coffey and by three sisters, Audrey Pulling, Loretta Mouser and Geneva Coffey.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Herman Morse officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
