In Memory of Phillip “Phil” Cadwell

Phillip “Phil” Cadwell, son of the late Arthur Frank Cadwell and Carolyn Davies Cadwell, was born on August 27, 1949 in Pontiac, Michigan and departed this life on May 4, 2019 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 69 years.
Mr. Cadwell was a veteran of the United States Marines, serving in Vietnam. After leaving the Marines, he was a self-employed, commercial truck driver. He enjoyed wood working and searching for hidden treasures in flea markets.
He is survived by three sons, Jason Cadwell of Pontiac, Michigan, Matt Cadwell of Bloomfield, Missouri and Joshua Cadwell of Payson, Arizona; by his daughter, Rebbecca Pearson of Bloomfield, Missouri; by one sister, Robin Richards of Daytona Beach, Florida; by five grandchildren, Jordon Cadwell, John Luke Davis, Jadyn Davis, Jace Cadwell and Jamison Cadwell; and by two great-grandchildren, Anthony Cadwell and Lynnzee Cadwell.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Pete Cadwell and Paul Cadwell and by one sister, in infancy.
A memorial service is being planned for Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.
