In Memory of Barbara Ann McDonald
Barbara Ann McDonald, daughter of the late Thomas Lee and Emma Allene Vincent Bolin, was born in Dexter, Missouri on January 31, 1947, and passed away at her home in Bernie on February 10, 2019, at the age of 72 years and 10 days.

Mrs. McDonald had been a resident of Bernie most of her life. She attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Bernie, Missouri and had been a real estate agent. She enjoyed piano music, sewing and doing crafts.

On April 13, 1963, she was married to Don Gene McDonald in East Prairie, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2010.

Surviving are two daughters and spouses, Lori & Dale Mathis of Bernie, Kim & Bobby Burton of Dexter; two sons and spouse, Nicholas Lee McDonald of St. Charles, Illinois, David Thomas & Debbie McDonald of Shinglehouse, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters and spouses, Janie & Everett Taylor of Benton, Yvonne & Nick Barrese of Prescott, Arizona, Margaret & Jerry Simpson of Bernie; and one brother, Calvin & Bonnie Bolin of St. Charles, Illinois. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Faye Bolin, Tina Joyce Kirkman; and two brothers, Fred Lee Bolin and Robert Eugene Bolin.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 14, 2019, from 11:00 am until time of services at 2:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Calvin Bolin of St. Charles, Illinois officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Doyle Gene Sanders
Doyle Gene Sanders of Essex, son of the late Elmer Lewis and Bessie Irene Purcell Sanders, was born in Essex, Missouri on November 12, 1939, passed away at his home in Essex on February 8, 2019, at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 26 days.

Doyle had lived in Essex area all his life. He had worked as a farm laborer until he retired. He was of the Pentecostal Faith. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

On June 7,1961, he married Julia Sue Burton in Essex, Missouri. She preceded him in death on February 15, 1982.

Surviving are one daughter, Penny Hall of Essex; two sons, Dale Sanders of Malden, Gary Sanders of Essex; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Roy Sanders of Essex. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Irene Sanders; four brothers, Elmer J., James, Donnie and Charles Dee Sanders; and five sisters Geraldine Duncan, Mildred Williams, Anna Lea Duley, Wilma Jean Alberson, and Martha DeSmythe.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, after 12:00 pm until time of services at 2:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with Julian Lerma of Portageville officiating.

Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery Essex with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Doyle Ronald Layton
Doyle Ronald Layton of Essex, son of the late Raymond Everett and Mary Alice Merriman Layton, was born in Manila, Arkansas on November 25, 1947, and passed away at his home in Essex, on February 9, 2019, at the age of 71 years, 2 months and 14 days.

Doyle had lived in the Essex area since 1980. He had worked as an auto mechanic for several years.
On December 9, 1981, he was married to Sandra Schrader in Manila, Arkansas.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra Layton of Essex; two sons, Ronald and Tony Layton both of Essex; one brother, Raymond "R.D." Layton of Rockford Illinois; three sisters, Lois Carmack of Morehouse, Joyce Hall of Essex, and Parzee Baker of Essex. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Danny, Willis and Albert "A.W." Layton.

Friends may visit on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Charles Woodard of Advance, Missouri officiating.

Interment will follow in the Link Cemetery near Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Donald Moore
Donald Moore, son of the late Lonzo Moore and Goldie Star Moore was born on June 7, 1944 in Malden, Missouri and departed this life on February 7, 2019 at his residence in Puxico, Missouri at the age of 74 years.

Mr. Moore was an EMT for the City of Malden for many years and attended the Egypt Community Church in Puxico.

On October 20, 1963, he was united to Mary Bostic in Malden, Missouri.  Mary survives of the home in Puxico.

Besides his wife, Mary, he is survived by two sons, Ronald Moore and wife Regina of Bloomfield, Missouri and Hubert Moore and wife Joyce of Glen Poole, Oklahoma; by one daughter-in-law, Tina Moore; by two brothers, Frank Moore of Tennessee and Garry Moore of Malden, Missouri; by two sisters, Lou Crannick of DeSoto, Missouri and  Linda Stanley of Malden, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Ronnie Moore (Amanda), Cody Moore (Brooke), Brittany Moore, Amanda Moore and Donald Moore III; by ten great-grandchildren, Alexis Moore, Alyssa Moore, Lillian Moore, Kinleigh Moore, Landon Moore, Nevaeh Moore, Andrew Vaughn, Preston Walton, Sebastian Walton and Hadley Walton; by three great-great grandchildren, Jasmine, Gabe and Chloe; by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Donald Moore, Jr.; one grandson, Justin Moore; three brothers, Johnnie Moore, Leman Moore and David Moore; two sisters, Betty Chalfant and Kathleen Phillips.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Hannah Elizabeth Reynolds
Hannah Elizabeth Reynolds, age 19, passed away February 7, 2019 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

She was born June 9, 1999 in Sikeston, to James Earl and Amy Dawn (Foote) Reynolds Jr. of Sikeston.

Hannah attended Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro and was a sophomore student at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. There, she majored in Agricultural Studies with a concentration in Agricultural Education. She was also the president of the Equine Club at ASU.

She was a 2017 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School. While in high school, she was a cheerleader and involved in the FFA chapter, where she was on contest teams and served as President. She received her State and American degrees within the FFA organization.

Hannah had a beautiful, contagious smile that lit up any room she was in. She loved all animals, especially horses. She worked at Animal Health Center.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by: her significant other, Ty Gates of Brookland, Arkansas; one sister, her best friend, Taylor Nicole Reynolds of Sikeston; two brothers Braxton Thomas Story (Emily) of Cape Girardeau, and Braydon James Reynolds of Columbia, Missouri; one nephew, Harvey Isaac Story of Cape Girardeau; maternal uncles and aunt, Gregory and Kellee Foote Jr. and Kyle Deuster; paternal aunts and uncles, Jimmy and Michelle Reynolds, Becky and Lee Stallings, Frances Nolan and Ethel Moore; 11 cousins, Tripp and William Foote, Kenny and Dominic Reynolds, Princess Bruce, Elizabeth Drake, Roger Moore, Jordan and Nicky Stallings, and Cooper and Jacob Reynolds; a special second cousin, Christopher Stone; and several other cousins, great-aunts and uncles, including her special maternal great aunt and uncle, Debbie and Mark Deuster. She is also survived by maternal grandparents, Greg and Bonnie Foote Sr. of Sikeston; paternal grandparents, James and Judy Reynolds Sr. of Greenway, Arkansas; maternal great-grandmother, Betty Taylor of Sikeston, with whom she was very close; and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal aunt, Bethany Deuster Venable.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Visitation will resume at noon Wednesday, Feb. 13, with services to follow at 2:00 p.m.  Pastor Jason Davis will officiate.
