


Bloomfield, Missouri - The Bernie junior varsity Mules took care of business in the semifinal game of the SCAA boys basketball tournament on Thursday evening beating the Wildcats 63-36.
Three Mules were in double digits. Johnny Vaughn had a game-high 18 points on six field goals and two treys.
Noah Foster tallied 15 points and Tyler Suiter recorded 10 points.
Bloomfield's Lane Bader finished with a team-high 12 points on six buckets.
Bernie will play the Dexter JV Bearcats on Friday, January 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the Championship game.
Bloomfield will play the Woodland JV Cardinals for 3rd place at 4:00 p.m.

Bloomfield, Missouri - The Dexter JV Bearcats jumped out to an early lead over the Woodland JV Cardinals in Game #6 of the Stoddard County Athletic Association (SCAA) Boys Basketball Tournament on Thursday, January 24, 2019.
By the end of the first period the Bearcats led 15-9, at the end of the second it was 38 -16, going into the fourth quarter they were ahead 56-23 with a running mercy clock. Final score was 67-31 eliminated Woodland in the semifinal game. Dexter will play in the championship against Bernie JV on Friday night at 7 p.m.
Jackson Allen had a game-high 20 points for the Bearcats. He hit six 3-pointers and one bucket.
Dexter tallied 19 treys in the game, 12 in the first half!
Nine other Bearcats accounted for the other 47 points.
Woodland's Josh Duncan tallied a team-high 12 points on 6 buckets.

Bloomfield, Missouri - The #1 seeded Dexter Bearcats eliminated the #8 seeded Bell City Cubs 86-29 in Game #5 of the SCAA BB Tournament on Tuesday evening.
Dexter led in all four quarters 24-11 at the end of one, 24-3 by half-time, 28-7 at the end of the third period, and 10-8 in the fourth.
All 10 Bearcats scored in the first half against the Cubs.
Nate Gargas recorded a game-high 16 points.
Andrew Ellinghouse tallied 12 points.
Eric Hahn finished with 12 points.
Ethan Kincy also hit double digits with 10 points.
Jack Duenne recorded 12 points for the Cubs all on treys.
Dexter continued to pull away in the third period, extending their lead to 76-21 by the start of the fourth quarter where the clock ran continuously because of the 30-point mercy rule.
