Bloomfield, Missouri -  The #14 seeded malden Green Wave outscored the #11 seeded Richland Rebels securing a 64-39 victory in a consolation quarterfinal of the 2018 Bloomfield Christmas Tournament on Thursday, December 27, 2018.

Malden (1-7) earned their first win of the 2018 basketball season leading 15-9 one quarter, 33-18 at the half and 49-28 at the end of the third quarter.

Sientez Lema tallied a team-high 17 points for the Green Wave.  Tye Miller finished with 14 points.

Richland (5-4) had two players in double digits.  Tanner Freeman recorded a team-high 14 points and Andrew Partenberry contributed 13 points.
