2018 Miss DHS Queen Natalie Sitze

Dexter, Missouri - The 2018 Miss DHS Candidates were presented at Charles Bland Stadium on Friday, August 31st prior to the Dexter vs Salem football game.

2nd Alternate was Miss Anna Bishiop

She is the daughter of Kevin and Lori Bishop.

Her activities include: Sr. Beta Club, Student Council, Scholar Bowl, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCCLA, and pep club.

Anna plans to attend the University of Arkansas as a pre-med major to become a dermatologist or oncologist.

She is escorted tonight by Gabe McGhee.

Gabe is the son of Greg and Roxanne McGhee.

When asked what three words would describe my candidate, Gabe stated, “smart, confident, and caring.”Miss DHS Natalie Sitze

1st Alternate was Miss Macy Roper

She is the daughter of Tony and Tonya Roper.

Macy is a member of: FCCLA, Sr. Beta Club, National Honor Society, FBLA, FTA, DHS news cast, Student Council, Showstoppers of Southeast Missouri, Beta Show Choir, Chamber Choir, pep club, basketball cheer team, and she serves as Student Body Vice-President.

Macy plans to attend the University of Mississippi to major in journalism, in order to pursue a career in public relations.

Macy is escorted by Eric Hahn, the son of Brad and Melissa Hahn.

Eric’s three words to describe Macy are: “sweet, funny, beautiful.”

The 2018 Miss DHS Queen is Natalie Sitze.

She is the daughter of Eric and Delisa Sitze

Natalie’s activities include: varsity basketball and volleyball, Beta Club, Student Council, FCA, FBLA, FCCLA, and Chamber Choir.

Natalie plans to attend a 4-year university but is currently undecided on a major.

She is escorted by Dylan Sitze.

He is the son of Eric and Delisa Sitze.

When asked what three words describe his sister, Dylan replied, “gullible, kind, and beautiful.”

The retiring Miss DHS is Morgan Aldridge.

She is the daughter of Jimmy and April Aldridge.

Morgan is currently attending Missouri State University where she is pursuing a degree in Risk Management and Insurance.

She is currently a member of Alpha Chi Omega, Centennial Leaders Program, STUMO, and DECA.

She is escorted tonight by Carter Dorton, son of Brett and Christy Dorton.

Carter describes Morgan, as “kind, smart, and beautiful.”

The 10th and final candidate is Miss Makenna Wilson.

She is the daughter of Curtis and Theresa Wilson.

Makenna’s activities include: National Honor Society, Beta Club, FCA, DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, and softball.

Makenna plans to attend Southeast Hospital College to earn her RN before going on to earn her BSN and work in the NICU (nick- u).

Makenna is escorted tonight by Landin Wood, son of Karen Hindman and Brad Wood.

Landin’s three words to describe Makenna are: “exciting, hard- working, and beautiful.”
