Dexter, Missouri - The 2017 DHS Football Homecoming Queen Coronation was held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Charles Bland Stadium.  The sixth homecoming candidate of the evening was Rachel Singh.

Rachel is a senior and is the daughter of Mahender and Sheela Singh.

She was nominated by the Lady Cats tennis team.

She is a member of the varsity tennis team, Top 10%, Future Business Leaders of America, Student Council, Sr. Beta Club, National Honor Society, Model UN, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Pep Club.  

Her future plans are to attend the University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC) where she plans to become a nurse practitioner.

Her escort was Marcus Woodson, Jr.

Marcus is a senior and the son of Danielle Septer and Marcus Woodson, Sr. 

He is a member of the varsity football team and varsity basketball team.
