In Memory of Ollie McWaters
Mr. Ollie McWaters of Ringwood, Oklahoma, passed peacefully from this life at home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, August 27, 2017. 

He was born on August 30, 1943, in Charter Oak, Missouri, and was a 1961 graduate of Gray Ridge High School in Gray Ridge, Missouri.  Ollie had been a resident of Oklahoma for almost fifty three years after relocating there in 1964 from Charter Oak, living first in Enid and then Ringwood.  He spent his entire career working in the Oklahoma oil industry where he made many lifelong friends.  

He was of the Methodist faith and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ringwood.  Ollie’s kind heart, gentle spirit, good humor, and sweet smile will be missed by all who knew him. 

Ollie was preceded in death by his parents, William L. and Nora Colston McWaters of Charter Oak, Missouri;  by six brothers and five sisters-in-law:  Claud (Gwen), Bert (Deloys), Don (Ann), Hershel (Catherine), W.C. (Geraldine), and Herman McWaters;  by five sisters and five brothers-in-law:  Emma Lou McWaters,  Audrey Newman (Aymon), Areda Greenlee (Ambrose), Mamie Gisi (Eugene), Polly Schuerenberg (William L.), and Quinton Malloy; and by his son-in-law, Dr. Aladdin Khalousi.     

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra McWaters; by his sister, Dimple McWaters Malloy of Morehouse, MO; by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law,  Linda and C.D. Smith of Dexter, MO; by his daughter, Shawna McWaters-Khalousi of Oklahoma City, OK; by his stepchildren Crystal (Rodney) Barker of Cape Girardeau, MO, Tyler (fiancée Dee Dee) Cryts of Paducah, KY, and Monté (Christe) Cryts of Paducah, KY; by his grandchildren Weston Barker, Alexi Cryts, and Natalie Cryts; and by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends who loved him.  

A Celebration of Life service was held on Friday, September 1, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church of Ringwood, OK, with the Rev. Rodney Repp officiating.  Memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church, PO Box 194, Ringwood, OK  73768.
