In Memory of James Ray Hanner, Jr.

James Ray Hanner, Jr., son of the late James Ray, Sr. and Kathleen Ann Olson Sellers, was born in Poplar Bluff on April 20, 1973, and passed away on August 27, 2017, at his home in Dexter at the age of 44 years.
James had lived in Poplar Bluff and Memphis, Tennessee before moving to Dexter in 2002. He and his partner own and operate Lucas Florist.
Surviving are his spouse, Derek Medler of Dexter; his grandparents, Raymond & Betty Hanner of Poplar Bluff; three sisters & husbands, Lana K. & Tracy Gleghorn of Corning, Arkansas, Connie L. & Greg McMeans of Qulin, Missouri and Lorra G. & Jeff McPherson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive.
Friends may call on Friday, September 1, 2017, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in Dexter.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter.
Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the Bailey Chapel Cemetery in Alton, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
