Dexter, Missouri - First Midwest Bank in Dexter will host an Open House in honor of Jack Huffman's retirement.

The event will take place on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 11:00 am. - 2:00 p.m. at the Business 60 location.

This is a walk-in event and the public is encouraged to attend.

Please join First Midwest Bank and congratulate Jack on his retirement!

Dorena-Hickman Ferry Closed for Repair
Dorena, Missouri - The Dorena-Hickman Ferry is closed due to a mechanical issue according to officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Repairs will be made Sunday, July 16 when a mechanic arrives. The ferry will be closed for the remainder Saturday, July 15 and will likely be closed part of the day Sunday.

The Dorena-Hickman Ferry connects KY 1354 at Hickman, Kentucky, with Missouri Route A and Route 77 near Dorena, Missouri.

Transformers to be in Dexter on Sunday
Dexter, Missouri -  Do you like Transformers?  Well you can meet Bumblebee and other Transformers in Dexter on Sunday from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Transformers are coming to Walmart Supercenters in Dexter, Sikeston, and Poplar Bluff.

Walmart and Hasbro have teamed up to launch a retail tour that will include 870 Walmart Supercenters across the United States.

Bumblebee and other Transformers will be at the stores in support of the new movie, Transformers 5: The Last Knight.

Autobots and Decepticons can be found at the following locations on Sunday, July 16:

1303 S Main St., Sikeston, Mo 63801 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
333 S Westwood Blvd., Poplar Bluff, Mo 63901 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
2025 W Business U.S. 60, Dexter, Mo 63841 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

There will be a meet and greet and photo opportunity offered as well as new merchandise.
