Bloomfield Routs Gideon in Game 5 of the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament

Bloomfield, Missouri - Peyton Bell flooded the scoreboard with a game high 21 points for the Bloomfield Wildcats to ensure a victory over the Gideon Bulldogs in Game #5 of the 60th Bloomfield Christmas Tournament on Monday evening.

Bell also contributed two 3-pointers with his efforts. 

Austin Phillips tallied 13 points on three treys and a couple of buckets.

Tim Hector added 11 with one trey, three buckets and two from the charity stripe.

Gideon's top scoring player was Chris Dye with 9 points hitting one 3-pointers and 3 buckets.

#5 seeded Bloomfield (6-2) will play #4 seeded Malden in quarterfinal (Game #14) action on Tuesday, December 27th at 5:30 p.m.  Gideon will now face Van Buren in a consolation quarterfinal (Game #9) on Tuesday, December 27th at 10:00 a.m.
