Shirley Christman, daughter of the late John W. Musgrave and Rosa Masterson Musgrave was born January 8, 1936 in Dexter and departed this life on November 19, 2016 at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter at the age of 80.

Mrs. Christman was united in marriage to Jerry Christman on February 26, 1954 and he preceded her in death on January 8, 2011.

She is survived by one daughter, Sherri Dodson and husband Daniel of Dexter; and one sister, Melba Billsbrough; by one Grandson, Jerry W. Harper and two great-grandchildren, Lorelei and Warrick Harper.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Owen Musgrave, Joseph Musgrave, Ernest Musgrave and John Musgrave, Jr.; by five sisters, Kathern Boyt, Irene Jenkins, Mary Scates, Rema Lang, and Golda Harper.
