Geraldine Warren, daughter of the late William “Bill” Leathers and Susie Absher Leathers was born on May 29, 1933 in Parma, Missouri and departed this life on November 20, 2016 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 83.

Mrs. Warren was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dexter, a Home-maker, and a resident of Dexter.

On November 13, 1948, she was united in marriage to John R. Warren in Piggott, Arkansas.  Mr. Warren preceded her in death on March 15, 2005.

Survivors include one son, Rick Warren of Tonopah, Arizona; by one daughter, Judy Hester of Dexter; three brothers, Danny Leathers and Conway Leathers both of Dexter and Jay Leathers of Highland, Missouri; one sister, Patty Stanford of Dexter; also by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jacqueline Griffin; by two brothers, Joe and Bill Leathers; one sister, Christine Tibbs, and by one grandson Michael Griffin.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 12:30 until 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 25, 2016. 

Funeral services will then be conducted on Friday at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Mike Kohlbaker officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
