Missouri Child Identification Program Offered for FREE

Dexter, Missouri - No one wants to think the unimaginable could happen to them, but according to statistics, nearly 2,000 children are reported missing or abducted each day in the United States.

The Missouri Child Identification Program will be held at Dexter High School Cafeteria on Saturday, August 20th from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. for children ages birth to 18 years of age.  You do not have to be a Dexter student.  Any child is eligible.

It is completely FREE and you will leave with 2 laminated ID cards and a disc for each child containing a digital picture, digital fingerprints, child information, and emergency contacts and a dental bite impression. Together these five measures provide a powerful identification and recovery tool.

The information on the disc is compatible with the format required by the "Amber Alert" program.

The Missouri Child Identification Program is a comprehensive child identification program designed to give families a measure of protection against the ever increasing problem of missing and abducted children.

This event is sponsored by the Missouri Masonic Children's Foundation and your local Masonic Lodge.  the Masonic Children's Foundation retains zero information concerning the children; only a signed permission form is retained by the Foundation.  You may download the forms ahead of time at www.mochip.org and click "about".

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Phillip Garner (573) 820-4034 or Steve Simmons (573) 579-2480.
