Danny Lee, son of the late Daniel Lee and Pearline Sutton Lee, was born on November 13, 1942 in Dix, Illinois and departed this life on April 2, 2016 at his residence in Dexter at the age of 73.

Mr. Lee was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dexter. He had worked at Purlator and John Deere. He and his wife are owners of three rescue dogs which are a very important part of their family.

On October 4, 1963, he was united in marriage to Joan Gunter in Malden, Missouri. Mrs. Lee survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Kevin Lee and wife Melody of Beijing, China, Jason Lee of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Eric Lee of Dillon, Montana; by one daughter, Pam Lee Ford and husband Eddie of Advance, Missouri; by four brothers, Alan Lee of Strafford, Missouri, Garry Lee of Hillsboro, Missouri, David Lee of Malden, Missouri and Larry Lee of Stover, Missouri; by one sister, Ellen Stone of Imperial, Missouri; by eight grandchildren, Dustin Ford and Danielle Ford, both of Advance, Missouri, Lian Lee, Angela Lee, Zhen Zhen Lee, Lanlan Lee, Ting Ting Lee and Minli Lee, all of Beijing, China; and by one great-grandchild, Julia Yu.

Friends may call at the First United Methodist Church in Dexter on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. A memorial service will be conducted at the First United Methodist Church in Dexter on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. with Dr. Barry Winders officiating.
