Kindergarten Students Earn Positive Office Referrals

Dexter, Missouri - Southwest Elementary honors Gavin Drake and Emma Brannan with the Positive Office Referral certificate.

This award is presented to students who consistently show the 3R's RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY TO LEARN at Southwest Elementary in Dexter. 

Emma is a Kindergarten student in Mrs. Christian's class.

"Emma is always showing the 3R's and being a great leader helping others.

Gavin is also a Kindergarten student in Mrs. McFarlen's classroom.

"He comes to group and always works hard.  He gives 100% effort to all activities and brings his folder to class."

Congratulations Gavin and Emma!

Zayden Kirkman Earns Positive Office Referral

Herbie was nominated by Miss Angie and Miss Kayla at Southwest Elementary.  He also received a certificate, a golden loop, and a free taco from Taco Bell.

"Herbie was helping Mr. Mike dump trays and clean the floor of a spill.  It was a very nice way to start a Monday."

He is the son of Pebel Frederick.

ShowMe Times Cheer Spotlight - Hallie Keathley

Dexter, Missouri - The ShowMe Times would like to spotlight Dexter Cheerleader Hallie Keathley.

Hallie is the 14-year old freshman and daughter of David Keathley and Karen Keathley.  She is also the granddaughter of Yvonne Keathley and Bob Keathley.

She is a member of Student Council and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Hallie also attends First Baptist Church Refuge.

Hallie lettered in varsity football cheer this year.  Her hobbies include cheering and tumbling.

2016 Mr. DMS Candidates

Dexter, Missouri - It's that time of the year when T.S. Hill Middle School holds their annual JR BETA Fundraiser by naming a new 2016 Mr. DMS.

Eighth grade boys are nominated by 8th grade teachers. Students and staff have this week and next to support their candidate via a $1.00 donation/vote.

Mr. DMS will be announced on Thursday, February 18th at the Jr. Beta Winter Dance.

The following young men have been nominated for Mr. DMS: Front row from left to right Kolby Musgrave, Logan Wyman, Mason Keena, and Wyatt Parker, Back row from left to right: Ryder Foster, Haden Hillis, Spencer Warren, Brodie Pollock, and Blane Berry.  Not pictured is Luke Becker.
