Dexter, Missouri - It's that time of the year when T.S. Hill Middle School holds their annual JR BETA Fundraiser by naming a new 2016 Mr. DMS.
Eighth grade boys are nominated by 8th grade teachers. Students and staff have this week and next to support their candidate via a $1.00 donation/vote.
Mr. DMS will be announced on Thursday, February 18th at the Jr. Beta Winter Dance.

Dexter, Missouri - The 2016 DHS Winter Homecoming Queen is Miss Melanie McKuin! Second Alternate is Miss Kelsey Kendrick and First Alternate is Miss Emily Page.
Melanie is the 18-year old senior and daughter of Barry and Kim McKuin.
Second Alternate is Kelsey Kendrick.
Kelsey is the 16-year old junior and daughter of Tim and Stephanie Adams.

Emily is the 16-year old junior and daughter of Michael and Louise Page.

Dexter, Missouri - It is customary that the retiring Winter Homecoming Queen crown the new queen. The retiring 2015 Winter Homecoming Queen is Ashlynn Wyman.
She is the 17-year old junior and daughter of Steven and Jana Wyman.
Ashlynn is active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Farmers of America, Teens Against Smoking Coalition, Honor Choir, Model UN, Student Council top 10%, Dexter Honor Society, FCA Captain, and is the Junior Class President.
She is also a member of the DHS Varsity Volleyball and Basketball Cheerleading teams where she has been selected for the SCAA All-Tournament Cheer Team for the past 3 years.
Her future plans are to attend Missouri State University.
Ashlynn's escort was Ethan Flowers.
He is the 18-year old senior and son of Tim and Kim Flowers.
He is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Teachers of America, and the Varsity Tennis and Varsity Basketball Teams.

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Bearcats held their annual Winter Homecoming Queen Coronation on Friday evening. Ten candidates walked across the court hoping to become the 2016 Winter Homecoming Queen.
Myca Sutton is the 16-year old junior and daughter of Mike and Carli Sutton and Cindy Wamble.
She is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FLC, Future Teachers of America, Student Council, Model UN, Top 10%, Dexter Honor Society, and DHS Kickin' Cats Dance Team.
Her future plans are to attend the University of Missouri - Columbia and major in Political Science.
Myca was nominated by the Kickin' Cats Dance Team.
Her escort was Jason Jarrell.
He is the 17-year old junior and son of Dennis and Paula Jarrell.
