
Carol Ann Quoos, daughter of the late Rodney James Thompson and Lucille Amanda Kurwitz Thompson, was born on July 30, 1942 in Sacramento, California and departed this life on November 10, 2015 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 73.
Mrs. Quoos had worked as a bookkeeper for Weis Markets in Westminster, Maryland and was a resident of Dexter.
On October 13, 1962, she was united in marriage to David N. Quoos at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, California. Mr. Quoos preceded her in death on November 10, 2015.
She is survived by two daughters, Debby Quoos of Dexter and Kris Quoos Owens of Westminster, Maryland; by two brothers, Tim Thompson and Jerry Thompson, both of Sacramento, California; by one sister, K. Shannon Thompson of Sacramento, California; and by five grandchildren, Amanda C. Hudson, Evan M. Quoos, Justin D. Quoos, Jason A. Owens and Tyler A. Owens; and by one great-grandchild, Aubryn E. Hudson.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Bryan Quoos.

David N. Quoos, son of the late Nelson F. Quoos and Gertrude Beryl Evans Quoos, was born on August 10, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland and departed this life on November 10, 2015 near Morehouse, Missouri at the age of 73.
Mr. Quoos had worked as a truck driver for Yellow Freight and was a resident of Dexter.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War.
On October 13, 1962, he was united in marriage to Carol Ann Thompson at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, California.
He is survived by two daughters, Debby Quoos of Dexter and Kris Quoos Owens of Westminster, Maryland; by one brother, Robert Quoos of Conowingo, Maryland; by one sister, Judith Freitag of Naples, Florida; and by five grandchildren, Amanda C. Hudson, Evan M. Quoos, Justin D. Quoos, Jason A. Owens and Tyler A. Owens; and by one great-grandchild, Aubryn E. Hudson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Bryan Quoos.

Mona was raised in the Acorn Ridge area, had lived in Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin and St. Louis before moving to Puxico in 1971. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Puxico. She had worked at McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis during WWII, and as a clerk in department stores, but most enjoyed being a home maker.
On April 1, 1939, she was married to Homer F. Evans in Hickman, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2002.
Surviving are two daughters and sons in law, Debbie Combs & Dan Combs of Cookeville, Tennessee, Susan & George Jackson of Puxico, Missouri; four grandchildren, Brian Fleming (Martha Wayne Fleming) of Marietta, Georgia, Amy Fleming DeBerry (Matt Reels, Maliyah & Kayden) of Cookeville, Tennessee, Bradley Jackson (Kimberly Jackson) of Liberty, Missouri and Matthew Jackson of Puxico; two sisters, Ernestine Button and Ethel Blue both of St. Louis, Missouri. Seven nieces and nephews, other friends and relatives also survive.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Forrest, Vern and Lowell Green.
Friends may visit after 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 18, 2015, at 2:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with Rev. Kenneth Lambert of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
Pall Bearers will be Glenn Green, Dan combs, George Jackson, Brad Jackson, Matthew Jackson and Greg Button.

On December 27, 1973, Kenneth was married to Arlessa Alice Dillinger of Dudley. She survives of the home. After serving four years in the Armed Forces, Kenneth and Arlessa returned to Dudley where they raised their two children.
Along with his wife, Arlessa, Kenneth is survived by his two daughters and his son-in-law; Tarah and Brian Carroll and Stacey Russell all of Dudley, extended family members Randy and Jennifer Grace, two granddaughters Alaina and Trailyn Grace, one sister, Christine and Jim Dill of Puxico and one brother, Bob Russell of Puxico.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jimmy.
Mr. Russell grew up farming and enjoyed being outside. He could be found working around outside in his shop or working in his garden. He was a talented craftsman and enjoyed tinkering with any project.
Most of all, Kenneth loved his family. All three of his girls were the light of his life and his reason he worked so hard. He had a work ethic that was unmatched and he never failed to provide for his family.
As a young man, Kenneth gave his life to the Lord and was a member of Corinth General Baptist Church of Puxico where his mother was a life-long member. On October 25, 2015, Kenneth rededicated his life to the Lord during a Sunday morning service at Friendship Baptist Church where he attended.
The Lord called Kenneth home on Friday, November 13, 2015 as he was surrounded by those who loved him.
Visitation for Kenneth Russell will be Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 5 to 8 pm at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home.
A graveside ceremony will be conducted on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 1:30 in the Dudley Cemetery with Pastor Lonny Mittag officiating.

Sheila Rae Dodson, daughter of Augie Brewer and the late Bonnie Gaines Brewer, was born on June 20, 1970 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on November 12, 2015 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 45.
Mrs. Dodson had worked as a caregiver for the Visiting Nurses Association and was a resident of Dexter.
On June 22, 2001, she was united in marriage to Derek Dodson in Bloomfield, Missouri. Mr. Dodson survives of the home.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by one son, David Shawn Midgett and wife Sherry of Dexter; by one brother Sylvester Stewart of Perryville, Missouri; by two sisters, Sylvia Stewart of Dexter, Missouri and Janet Marler of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and by one grandson, David Cole Midgett.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gilbert Brewer; and by one sister, Barbara Jean Brewer.
