Sheila Rae Dodson, daughter of Augie Brewer and the late Bonnie Gaines Brewer, was born on June 20, 1970 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on November 12, 2015  at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 45.

Mrs. Dodson had worked as a caregiver for the Visiting Nurses Association and was a resident of Dexter.

On June 22, 2001, she was united in marriage to Derek Dodson in Bloomfield, Missouri.  Mr. Dodson survives of the home.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by one son, David Shawn Midgett and wife Sherry of Dexter; by one brother Sylvester Stewart of Perryville, Missouri; by two sisters, Sylvia Stewart of Dexter, Missouri and Janet Marler of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and by one grandson, David Cole Midgett.

Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gilbert Brewer; and by one sister, Barbara Jean Brewer.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 2:30 P.M.
