- * A HEAT INDEX OF 110 IS GENERALLY CONSIDERED THE THRESHOLD WHEN HEAT EFFECTS CAN BECOME EXTREME... MAKING HEAT EXHAUSTION AND HEAT STROKE A MUCH GREATER CONCERN IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
