Sheila June Carson, daughter of the late John Mitchell and Dorothy Ramsey Mitchell was born in Parma, Missouri on February 8, 1953 and departed this life at Oakdale Care Center of Poplar Bluff, Missouri on June 8, 2015 at the age of 62.

Mrs. Carson was a former employee of the Missouri Industries Company in Dexter also having worked at Inland Shoes of Parma, Missouri, she was also a homemaker.  A member of First Baptist Church of Parma, Missouri and a resident of Malden.

She was united in marriage to Darrel Wayne Carson in Parma, Missouri on June 26, 1976.  Mr. Carson preceded his wife in death on November 4, 2014.

Survivors include one son, Eric Carson & wife Rachael of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by one granddaughter, Olivia Carson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by three brothers, Steve Mitchell of Louisville, Kentucky , Charles Mitchell of Malden, Missouri and John Mitchell of London, England; also by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by one sister in infancy, Jane Ellen Mitchell.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M.  

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie beginning at 1:00 P.M. 

Interment will follow in Chalk Bluff Cemetery, Rural Dexter, Missouri.
