
He had lived in St. Louis before returning to Dexter over forty years ago. He had worked at General Cable in St. Louis and was a self employed plumber. He was of the Methodist faith.
On July 15, 1956, he was married to Genevieve "Jeannie" Carpenter in Lodi, California. She preceded him in death on January 14, 2003.
Surviving are two daughters and spouses, Dollie & Dewayne Stoner of Dexter, Roxanne "Rocky" & David Ashby of DeBary, Florida; two sons and spouse, Thomas Joel "Joe", III & Kari Stephens of O'Fallon, Missouri, Charles E. "Chuck" Stephens of Dexter, Missouri; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and one sister & spouse, Irma & Gene Jackson of Aid. Many other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Honey and Francis Price.

He had lived in the Puxico area all of his life. He had worked as a farmer, at the Best Grain Elevator and had retired from the Lucy Lee Hospital. He attended the Brown General Baptist Church near Puxico.
On June 23, 1956, he was married to Bonnie Townsend in Gipsy, Missouri. She preceded him in death in 2003.
Surviving are two daughters and son in law, Mary Hisaw and Sherry & Cecil Daniel all of Puxico; one grandson, Dennis Daniel of Puxico; two great grandchildren, Cody Swain and Danielle Daniel; one great great grandson, Westin Swain; one sister, Dorothy Stilts of St. Louis; and one brother, Freddie Hisaw of Branson, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by brother, Harold Lee Hisaw.
Friends may call on Monday, April 20, 2015, after 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, with the Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico officiating.

Willa M. Gaede, daughter of the late Marshall Cloud and Zoe Turlington Cloud, was born on February 10, 1935 in Dexter and departed this life on April 19, 2015 at her residence in Dexter at the age of 80.
Mrs. Gaede was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter. She had worked as the secretary for the First Baptist Church for many years and was the Salutatorian for the Dexter High School graduating class of 1953.
On June 17, 1956, she was united in marriage to Robert Gaede in Dexter. Mr. Gaede preceded her in death on April 29, 2003.
She is survived by two sons, David Robert Gaede and his wife Candace of Springfield, Missouri and Daniel Alan Gaede and his wife Peggy of Overland Park, Kansas; by four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
A memorial service will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. George Nite officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Howard Lee Smith, son of the late James Smith and Ella Heath Smith, was born in Dogwood, Missouri on July 30, 1937 and departed this life on April 15, 2015 at his residence in Puxico at the age of 77.
Mr. Smith had worked for Chambers Electric in Sikeston and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He was united in marriage to Phyllis Kaye Ledbetter in 1959 in Sikeston. Mrs. Smith preceded him in death on July 23, 2000.
He is survived by one son, Mike Roy Bryant of Florida; by one daughter, Tracy Lynn Massey and her husband Jeff of Puxico; by two brothers, John Smith of Tennessee and Billy Smith of Michigan; by two sisters, Kitty Harper of Bertrand, Missouri and Becky Anderson of Tucson, Arizona; by five grandchildren, Jason Lee Massey, Amanda Kaye Geske, Corey Bryant, Ben Bryant and Sarah Wallace; and by seven great-grandchildren, Bowen Massey, Kolton and Keaton Geske, Maddox and Hendrix Bryant, Annabel Bryant and Marley Wallace.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Smith; and by five sisters, Margaret Humphrey, Doris Hart, Sue Smith, Mary Heaton and Helen Taylor.
A memorial service will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 10:00 A.M.

Mrs. Temples had spent 45 years in Pontiac, Michigan. She moved back to Dexter in 1981 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri.
On October 2, 1937, she was married to Edward Temples in Bloomfield, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2007.
Surviving are two sisters, Beverly Ann Hunter of Dexter, Missouri and Shirley Burt of Laguna Woods, California; one brother, Larry Webb of San Diego, California; and many nieces and nephews. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by five brothers, L.A. Webb, L.D. Webb, Harold Webb, Darrell Webb, and Bob Webb and one sister, Carolyn Webb.
Graveside Funeral services were held on Saturday April 18, 2015, at 12:00 PM at the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.
Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
