Alan Mays, son of Edgar C. Mays and Glenda Faye Branddenburg Baker in St. Louis, Missouri on March 16, 1964 and departed this life in St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on January 9, 2015 at the age of 50.
Mr. Mays worked in Heating & Air Condition Repair. His hobbies included Metal Detecting and Prospecting. He was of Baptist faith.
He was united in marriage to Tammy Waynette Armbruster in Los Vegas, Nevada on February 22, 2014. She survives of the home in Bernie.
Other survivors include his father, Edgar C. Mays of Portageville, Missouri; by his mother and step-father, William and Glenda Faye Baker of Bernie, Missouri; two sons, Christopher Alan Mays of Portageville, Missouri and Cody Allan Mays of Kennett, Missouri; by one daughter Jessica Nicole Mays of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by two step-daughters, Krista Leighann Armbruster of Nampa, Idaho and Kelsey Diane Jany of Bernie, Missouri; by two brothers, Eddie Allen Mays of Bloomfield, Missouri and Robert Earl Mays of Portageville, Missouri; by four grandchildren; and by other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday morning, January 13, 2015 starting at 10:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie with Rev. Steve Fitzpatrick officiating.Interment will follow in Portageville Cemetery, Portageville, Missouri.
