Walter Berrel Guilliams, 81, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.  He was born December 12, 1933, in Doniphan, Mo., to Marvin B. and Joy Hunt Guilliams. He and Ruth Ann Sander were married June 6, 1958, at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson.

Walt was raised in Doniphan, Missouri, and was a 1952 graduate of Doniphan High School. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving honorably from August, 1953 to August, 1957. After leaving the military he was employed by the former McDonnell Douglas and Martin Marietta Corp. in St. Louis. In 1967, he went to work as an insurance adjuster for Pacific Insurance in St. Louis. In 1970, he relocated to Dexter, Missouri, working for Farmers Insurance Group. He later joined Shelter Insurance Co., which eventually led the family to Jackson, Missouri in 1981. He retired from Shelter in 1986 due to declining health.

Walt enjoyed coaching his five sons in numerous youth sport leagues and was a passionate supporter of all the activities of his sons and grandchildren – always their number one fan! A more proud, involved, and devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather could not be found.

He was a former member of First Christian Church in Dexter and current member of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church in Jackson, serving many years as a deacon and on other various committees. He was a former member and past Worshipful Master of the Masonic Lodge in Dexter and a current member of Excelsior Masonic Lodge 441 in Jackson.

Loving Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ruth Guilliams of Jackson; four sons, Greg (Michelle) Guilliams of Freeport, Illinois, Rick (Christi) Guilliams of Jackson, Roger (Libby) Guilliams of Whitewater, Missouri, Shane Guilliams (partner, Charles Miller) of Phoenix, Arizona; five grandchildren, Caleb Guilliams of Cape Girardeau, Rebecca (Curt) Kuehn of Jackson, Megan Guilliams of Versailles, Kentucky, Jeffery and Danny Guilliams of Freeport; three great-grandchildren, Avery, McKinzey, and Maverick Kuehn of Jackson; three brothers, identical twin, George Jerrel (Pat) Guilliams, Sr. of Perryville, Missouri, Lonnie (the late Judy) Guilliams of Puxico, Missouri, Donnie (Valerie) Guilliams of Wichita, Kansas; two sisters, Marvine (the late Glen) Joplin of Doniphan and Mackie (Don) Harper of Bloomfield, Missouri; sister-in-law, Charlene Guilliams of Pearland, Texas; former daughter-in-law, Danielle Kenty Chekaraou of Windhoek, Namibia, Africa; and several beloved sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends he dearly loved.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jeffery Guilliams (1994); his parents; two brothers, Edward (Joyce) Guilliams, Barney Guilliams; and step-father, Eddie Rush.

Friends may call Saturday, January 3, 2015, from 2 to 7 PM, and Sunday, January 4, from 11 AM to service time, at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be Sunday, at 1:30 PM, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating.

Burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates memorial contributions to Shawnee Hills Baptist Church in Jackson.

Harold Williams, Jr.
Harold Williams, Jr., the son of the late Harold, Sr. and Elizabeth Ramsey Williams, was born in Newport, Arkansas on February 8, 1954, and passed away at his home in Dexter, Missouri on December 26, 2014, at the age of 60 years, 10 months and 18 days.

Mr. Williams had lived in Dexter for many years and had lived in Bernie and Dudley. He had worked at Brown Shoe Company in Bernie and was of the Pentacostal Faith.

Surviving are one daughter, Angela Williams of Dexter, Missouri; three brothers, Jerry Williams of Marble Hill, Missouri, Bob Williams of Bono, Arkansas, Les Williams of Monette, Arkansas; two sisters, Zela Williams and Emmy Pankey both of Jonesboro, Arkansas Other relatives and friends also survive.

Friends may call on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, after 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Justin Williams of Marble Hill, Missouri, officiating.

Burial will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Ernestine Webber
Ernestine Webber, daughter of Ruth Cook Monahan and the late Lee Monahan, was born in Caddo Gap, Arkansas on January 12, 1935, and passed away on December 26, 2014, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, at the age of 79 years, 11 months and 14 days.

She had lived in Dexter most of her life. She had worked as a head cook for the Dexter Public Schools for over twenty years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter.

She was married to Robert Leroy Ferguson, he preceded her in death in 1963. On August 4, 1970, she was married to Raymond Louis "Junior" Webber, Jr. in Dexter, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2014.

Surviving are two sons, Jerry Probst of Mt. Grove, Raymond Webber, III of Dexter; five daughters and spouses, Sherry & Don Chance of Matthews, Tammy & Terry Crowley of Dexter, Cathy & Gene Kirby of Dexter, Mary & Bobby Armour of Poplar Bluff, and Theresa Brown of Bernie; her mother, Ruth Monahan of Cape Girardeau; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one sister, Debbie Monahan of Cape Girardeau and one brother, Jimmy Monahan of Thebes, Illinois.
Other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by one son, Jeff Webber and two brothers, Otis and Joel Monahan.

Friends may visit Sunday, December 28, 2014, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, December 29, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Rich Lee of Dexter and Rev. Blake Brown of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.

Interment with be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

William R. Wrinkle

William R. Wrinkle, son of the late Clarence Wrinkle and Edna Anderson Wrinkle, was born on October 10, 1932 in Sylimore, Arkansas and departed this life on December 26, 2014 at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 82.

Mr. Wrinkle was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Korean War.  He was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ.

On August 31, 1984 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Ann Mayfield in Visalia, California.  Mrs. Wrinkle survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Gary Ray Wrinkle of Indiana; by two daughters, Brenda Tuttle of Exeter, California and Vickie Smith of Aurora, Missouri; by one step-son, Thomas Tatko of Vienna, Austria; by one sister, Audie Kellens of Blanket, Texas; by one cousin, Jerry Wayne Malson; by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.


A grave-side memorial service will be conducted on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Marian Duley

Marian Duley, daughter of the late Roy Loper and Cordelia Meldrum Loper was born on January 18, 1927 in Bay City, Michigan and departed this life on December 25, 2014 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at the age of 87.

Mrs. Duley was a home-maker, a resident of Dexter and had attended the Midland Church in Poplar Bluff.

On January 22, 1945 she was united in marriage to Lawrence Duley in Dexter.  Mr. Duley preceded her in death on December 9, 2012.

She is survived by three sons, Daniel and wife Terry Duley of Owosso, Michigan, Martin and wife Loraine Duley of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and David Duley of Dexter; by one daughter, Yvonne and husband Kenneth Hutchison of Mt. Rose, Michigan; by three sisters, Bernadine Triplett of Robinsville, North Carolina, Minnie Baughman of Port Richey, Florida and Betty Tracy of Owosso, Michigan; by fourteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 29, 2014 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Rick White officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Sadler Chapel cemetery.
