
Dexter, Missouri – The Dexter middle school boys basketball program will enter the 2014 SCAA Middle School Tournament with a perfect record on Saturday. Both the 7th and 8th grade teams improved their records to 8-0 defeating Puxico on Veterans Day.
It was a packed gym at T.S. Hill Middle School with the 7th grade Bearcats defeating Puxico 50 – 24. The 8th grade team beat Puxico 62 – 18.
In 7th grade action Brodie Pollock tallied a game-high 20 points for the Bearcats. Garrett Henson at 9 points including one 3-pointer. Jack Scruggs also tallied 9 points. The Bearcats scored double digits in both the first and second periods prior to the half.

In 8th grade action Nate Gargas tallied a game-high 14 points. Seth Rogers and Garrison Collier both recorded 10 points for the Bearcats. Eric Hahn added 8 points including 2 treys. Ethan Hobgood added a three pointer with his 7 points.
The Bearcats scored double digits in the first three periods of the game.
