On April 2, 1943, he was married to Jewell Elizabeth Eavenson in Dudley, Missouri. She preceded him in death on October 1, 2007.
Mr. Orr had lived in Dudley most of his life, working as a carpenter and logger; in his later years he worked for the Corp of Engineers and retired in 1988. He was a member of the Dudley Community Church, he enjoyed flea markets but his passion was documenting Native American Indian sites in Southeast Missouri. He served as a trustee of the Missouri Archaeological Society.
Mr. Orr served in the U. S. Third Army as a combat engineer during World War II under General George S. Patton. He participated in four military campaigns: Rhineland, Northern France, Central Europe and Ardennes (Battle of the Bulge). He was honorably discharged on November 3, 1945.
Surviving are one son & wife, Darryl & Diana Orr of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter & husband, Nicki & Bill Allen of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri; four grandchildren, Kristie, Lindsey, Taylor & David; and eight great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Kathryn, Margaret, Ina, and Peggy; and three brothers, John, Carroll and Raymond.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 13, 2007, at 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Greg Meadows of Dudley, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Dudley Cemetery in Dudley, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

She had lived in Sikeston before moving to Dexter, Missouri in 1998. She had a Bachelor of Arts in Music and was a member of the Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston. Her passion was her music and she enjoyed cross stitching.
Surviving are her parents, Steve & Terri Bishop of Dexter; two brothers, Christian and Gabriel Gentry both of Sikeston; one sister, Jessica Gentry of Sikeston; her paternal grandmother, Lenora Bishop of Dexter; her maternal grandparents, Lewis & Irene Phillips of Sikeston. Other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Everett Bishop and grandparents, W. H. & Dorothy Gentry.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Shady Acres Church of Christ, 1440 Ables Rd., Sikeston, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston, Missouri with Bro. Harold Luscombe of Paducah, Kentucky officiating.

Harold Junior Foster, of Bloomfield, son of the late Issac Howard and Susie Foster, was born in Maynard, Arkansas on December 7, 1929, and passed away at the V. A. Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on September 7, 2014, at the age of 84 years and 9 months.
He had lived in Bloomfield most of his life and had worked as a janitor at the Stoddard County Courthouse for twenty-four years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
On December 11, 1955 he was married to Dorthey Aline Helms. She preceded him in death on December 15, 2005.
Surviving are two sons, Harold E. Foster and Danny West of Bloomfield; three daughters, Carol Harmon of Kansas City, Vicky Glass of Bloomfield, Sherry Clevenger of Marquand; eleven grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; one brother, George Foster of Puxico and one sister, Kathryn Ruble of Kansas City. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Diana Holderfield, one brother, Harlan Foster, and three sisters, Mary Wooley, Joann Foster and Charlene Griffin.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Pastor Jimmy Fingers of Dexter officiating.
Interment with be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military honors. Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

She had lived in Dudley, Missouri most of her life. She had worked as a waitress and was a member of the Faith Community Church in Dudley.
On February 14, 1996, she was married to Bill Beck in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2008.
Surviving are two brothers & wives, Bill & Belinda Powell of Dudley and John & Betty Powell of Dexter. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Bob Powell; and one sister, Mary Dowdy.

James Craig McLaughlin, son of Patty Christy McLaughlin and the late Billy Gene McLaughlin, was born in Sedalia, Missouri on October 8, 1958 and lost his battle with cancer at his home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on August 31, 2014 at the age of 55.
Mr. McLaughlin had worked at VanMatre Buick, GMC and Cadillac in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Craig was an ardent golfer, and was of Baptist Faith.
He was united in marriage to Karen Bristow in Bernie, Missouri on November 5, 2011. Mrs. McLaughlin remains of their home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Other survivors include his mother, Patty McLaughlin of Harrisonville, Missouri; by his step-mother, Connie McLaughlin of Sedalia, Missouri; one son, Jeff McLaughlin of Columbia, Missouri; by one step-son, Jeremy Lacewell & wife Melissa of Gideon, Missouri; by one step-daughter, Kari Powell & husband Greg of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by three sisters, Dawn Weaver & husband Robert of St. Joseph, Missouri, Jill Grunewald & husband Mark of Minneapolis, Minnesota and April McLaughlin of Harrisonville, Missouri; by three grandchildren, Elizabeth Lacewell, Hayden Lacewell and Zoey Powell; by two nieces, Grace McLaughlin of Harrisonville, Missouri and Harriet Grunewald of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
