Erica Lyn Gentry

She had lived in Sikeston before moving to Dexter, Missouri in 1998. She had a Bachelor of Arts in Music and was a member of the Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston. Her passion was her music and she enjoyed cross stitching.
Surviving are her parents, Steve & Terri Bishop of Dexter; two brothers, Christian and Gabriel Gentry both of Sikeston; one sister, Jessica Gentry of Sikeston; her paternal grandmother, Lenora Bishop of Dexter; her maternal grandparents, Lewis & Irene Phillips of Sikeston. Other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Everett Bishop and grandparents, W. H. & Dorothy Gentry.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Shady Acres Church of Christ, 1440 Ables Rd., Sikeston, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston, Missouri with Bro. Harold Luscombe of Paducah, Kentucky officiating.
Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
