Dexter, Missouri  - We’re about a month away from the start of the 2014 high school football season!  The Dexter Bearcats have been practicing hard this summer and are excited about the upcoming season. 

The Bearcats will once again participate in the annual Football Jamboree, which will be held on Friday, August 15^th in New Madrid.

The varsity football season is slated to open its season at Ste. Genevieve on August 22^nd with a game time of 7:00 p.m.  Homecoming is slated for September 26^th hosting the Kennett Indians.

The Junior Varsity football team will play on Monday evenings at 6 p.m. except for the Poplar Bluff game which will be on Tuesday due to the Labor Day holiday on that Monday. They will have only two home games this year, hosting Charleston on September 8^th and hosting Kennett on September 29^th.
