Bloomfield, Missouri – It was Homecoming on Friday night as the Bloomfield Wildcats hosted the Woodland Cardinals.
The Cardinals defeated the Wildcats 51-46.
“We are still looking to put together four solid quarter, on both ends of the floor,” commented Bloomfield’s head coach Jason Karnes. “We are just too inconsistent right now to ever get much momentum going.”
Noah Vandiver recorded a team-high 13 points for the Wildcats. Nathan Newell hit three treys tallying a total of 11 points. Both Tim Fox and Tyler Battles recorded a 3-pointer.
Woodland’s Garrett Reynolds tallied a game-high 14 points and was the only Cardinal in double figures. Devon Ritter recorded a trey and Landon Johnson recorded two 3-pointers.
The Wildcats begin their bid in the SCAA Tournament on Monday night at 8:30 p.m. at the Bearcat Event Center competing against none other than the Woodland Cardinals.
“We will have to figure out a way to bounce back against the same team on Monday,” stated Karnes.
