Zalma, Missouri – The Richland Rebels traveled to Zalma Friday night and earned their first win of the season. 

Adam Lane recorded a team-high 17 points for the Rebels including a trey.  Josh Thorton tallied 15 points to help the Rebels to a 57 – 47 victory.

Zalma’s D.J. Hankins recorded a game-high 18 points for the Bulldogs including one 3-pointer. 

The first quarter ended in a tie 18 – 18, but Richland rallied in the second period outscoring Zalma 12-4 and giving the Rebels an 8 point lead at half. 

Zalma (1-13) will travel to Patton, Missouri to compete against the Meadow Heights Panthers on Tuesday, January 28^th.

Richland (1-11) has entered the SCAA Tournament at the #8 seed and will begin play on Tuesday, January 28^th when they take on the #1 Bernie Mules.  Game time is 7:00 p.m. at the Bearcat Event Center in Dexter, Missouri. 

They return home on Tuesday, February 4^th when they host the East Prairie Eagles.
