Shirley Randolph

Shirley Randolph, daughter of the late Thomas Rogers and Martha Williams Rogers was born on September 27, 1948 in Rector, Arkansas and departed this life on October 30, 2013 at her daughter’s residence in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 65.

Mrs. Randolph was a member of the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter and a former resident of Dexter.

On March 19, 1965 she was united in marriage to Richard Earl Randolph in Piggott, Arkansas.  Mr. Randolph preceded her in death on March 19, 2013.

Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Lynne Smith and husband Keith of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and by Cheryl Leigh Gibson and husband Jimmy of Corning, Arkansas;  one brother, Eugene Rogers of Kansas; by four sisters, Jodean Haley of Malden, Missouri, Cynthia Sonny of Malden, Missouri, Fay Ambrozy of Michigan, and Donna McFarlin of Piggott, Arkansas; also by three grandchildren, Mandy Leible and husband John, Tyler Gaines, and Michael Veach.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Marion Rogers and Donald Rogers; by three sisters, Virginia Bell, Janie Hutchinson, and Annie May Rogers.

Graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter with Rev. Byron Beck officiating. 

Interment will follow. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
