
Connie Lucille Pope, daughter of the late Le Pope and Freida Marie Patten Pope, was born on January 15, 1956 in Bernie, Missouri, and departed this life on May 16, 2013 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 57 years.
Ms. Pope was a resident of Bernie, Missouri and a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Jerry E. Tessier of Bernie, Missouri; by one half-brother, Danny Estes of Nashville, Tennessee; by four half-sisters, Sue Henderson and her husband, Frank, of Greenville, Missouri, Diane Tuttle of Greenville, Missouri, Pat Alessi of Forrest City, Arkansas and Pat Estes of Sikeston, Missouri.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Gary Albertson and Glenn Cunningham; and by her grandparents, Clarence and Janie Cunningham.

James H. Brooks, son of the late James H. Brooks, Sr. and Ellie Rollins Brooks, was born on June 2, 1949 in Marked Tree, Arkansas and departed this life on May 13, 2013 at his residence in Wappapello, Missouri at the age of 63 years.
Mr. Brooks worked as an electrician, and was a member of the IBEW Local 516 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was also a member of the Eagles and the VFW in Wappapello.
He is survived by one son, Kevin Brooks of Perryville, Missouri; by one daughter, Carol Faries of Wappappello, Missouri; by one brother, Jimmy Brooks, of Tulot, Arkasas; by one sister, Paulette Brooks, of Truman, Arkansas; by five grandchildren, Matheau, Katie, Logan, Bradley and Riley; and by six great-grandchildren, Kaylea, Justin, Paylor, Hayley, Raylyn and Tristan.
In addition to his parents, one brother, Billy Brooks, preceded him in death.

Herman “John” Williamson, son of the late Herman Williamson and Ruby Maurene Jackson Box, was born on December 13, 1946, in Holcomb, Missouri and passed away at his home near Puxico on May 14, 2013, at the age of 66 years.
Herman had lived in Southeast Missouri all his life and had lived near Puxico the past five years. He was a truck driver with Faith Global Transportation and attended the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
On December 11, 1971, he married Nina Horn in Essex, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Nina Williamson of Puxico; four daughters, Maurena Jenkins of Iowa, Kim Lavy of Troy, Missouri, Janie Gau of Puxico, Missouri, Shaina Smith of Moscow Mills, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren, two sisters, Wanda Harris and Linda McCarty both of Bloomfield, Missouri; four brothers, David Williamson of Troy, Missouri, Terry Box of California, Ronnie Acup of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Todd Ingram of Michigan. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by three cousins raised as siblings, Wanda Propst, Carros Worley and Charles Evans.
Friends may visit on Sunday May 19, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be held on Monday May 20, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Lana Carole Cook, daughter of the late Charles Benjamin Burnett and Ora Hyten Burnett, was born on September 21, 1950 in Bakersfield, California and departed this life on May 12, 2013 at her residence near Puxico, Missouri at the age of 62 years.
On May 24, 1969, she was united in marriage to Claude Elmer Cook in Parma, Missouri. Mr. Cook preceded her in death on April 8, 1999.
She is survived by one son, William Heith Cook of Fulton, Missouri; by one daughter, Tammy Jones and her husband, John Kacy, of Puxico, Missouri; by four brothers, Doyle Burnett of Harrison, Arkansas, Darrel Burnett of Risco, Missouri, Gary Burnett of Harrison, Arkansas and Tony Burnett of Lead Hill, Arkansas; by one sister, Joan Cato of Holladay, Tennessee; by six grandchildren, Kaitlyn Cook, Dylon Bostic, Aaron Bostic, Jessica Bostic, Justin Cook and Gunner Cook; and by two great-grandchildren, Brysn Bostic and Nicholas Smith.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Tommy Burnett, Sonny Burnett and Roger Dale Burnett; and by one sister, Shirley Rodgers.

Charles Aubrey Rainey, son of the late O. Chesley Rainey and Nina Norman Rainey, was born on March 20, 1933 in Dexter, Missouri and passed away on May 10, 2013 at Alexian Brothers Sherbrooke Village in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 80 years.
Mr. Rainey was a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Bonne Terre, Missouri and a resident of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Dexter. He had worked as an electronic technician for McDonnell Douglas and was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by two daughters, Diana Lynn Leach and her husband, Ken and Ellen Shy and her husband, Lucky, all of St. Louis, Missouri; and by three grandchildren, Trevor Leach, Sabreena Leach and Kelsie Shy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Bobby Rainey, Marvin Rainey, Lee Rainey, Loyd Rainey and Dale Rainey; and by three sisters, Dorothy Rainey, Ruth Dreadon Gaylord and Evelyn Duley.
Graveside services will be conducted at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 12:00 Noon with the Rev. Joe Payne presiding.
