Marilyn Joyce Garrett, daughter of Joyce Green Fleetwood of Henderson, Nevada and the late Melvin Fleetwood, was born on May 23, 1955 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and passed away on May 4, 2013 at her residence in Festus, Missouri at the age of 57.

Mrs. Garrett was a home-maker and a former Dexter resident currently living in Festus.

On February 2, 2002 she was united in marriage to Clyde Garrett in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Mr. Garrett survives.

Besides her mother and husband she is survived by two sons, Robert Shelsky and wife Ashley of Festus and Jason Shelsky of Tipton, Iowa; by two brothers, Danny Fleetwood and Richard Fleetwood both of Henderson, Nevada; by three sisters, Deborah Lloyd and Donna Sparks both of Henderson, Nevada and Tammi Qustandi of Las Vegas, Nevada and by six grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 2:30 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. 

A memorial service will then be conducted on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter.
