
Lawrence Duley, son of the late Archie Duley and Lucinda Blevins Duley was born on April 27, 1927, at Risco and departed this life in The Manor at Poplar Bluff on December 9, 2012, at the age of 85.
Mr. Duley attended the Midland Church at Poplar Bluff, was a retired carpenter, a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II, and a former resident of Dexter currently residing in Poplar Bluff.
He was united in marriage to Marian Loper on January 22, 1945 at Dexter. Mrs. Duley survives of the home in Poplar Bluff.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Daniel Duley of Owosso, Michigan, Martin Duley of Poplar Bluff and David Duley of Dexter: by one daughter, Yvonne Hutchison, of Mt. Rose, Michigan: by fourteen grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Ray Duley, Merrell Duley, Melvin Duley and Leo Duley: by three sisters, Genevie Bullock, Gwendolyn Duley and Nathelene Duffey.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 12, 1012 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rick White officiating. Interment will follow in the Sadler Chapel Cemetery.

Helen Bowling, daughter of the late Otis and Winnie Skelton Weaver, was born on June 23, 1928, in Bloomfield, Missouri and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on December 6, 2012, at the age of 84 years.
She had lived in Bloomfield, Missouri all of her life. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield, Missouri.
On December 28, 1946, she was married to Earl Bowling in Bloomfield, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1987.
Surviving are three daughters, Brenda Bowling of Dexter, Vicky Bowling and Debbie Bowling both of Bloomfield; four sons, Ronnie Bowling, Larry Bowling and Kenny Bowling all of Bloomfield, Michael Bowling of Coolidge, Arizona; ten grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; four sisters, Louise Smith and Melba Barnett both of Bloomfield, Dorthy Evans of Cypress, Texas, Georgia Hughes of Hayden, Alabama; three brothers, Harold Gaines, Don Weaver & Dale Weaver all of Bloomfield. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Earl Bowling and Jerry Ray Bowling and one brother, James R. Weaver.
Friends may visit on Sunday December 9, 2012, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be held on Monday December 10, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Greg Stevens of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Mr. Blair was a member of the New Hope General Baptist Church near Essex, Missouri, a retired farmer and a resident of rural Dexter.
He was united in marriage to Jean Mayberry on January 30, 1955, at Essex, Missouri. Mrs. Blair resides at the home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Bobby Blair, Jr., and his wife, Jane, of Essex, Missouri, Terry Blair, and his wife, Karen, of Essex, Missouri, and Jeff Blair, and his wife, Melissa, of Dexter, Missouri; by two brothers, Kermit Blair of Essex, Missouri, and J.C. Blair of Vallejo, California; and by seven grandchildren, Eric Blair, Tina Porter, Melissa Hitt, Heather Blair, Jessica Blair, Lauren Blair and Carson Blair; and by three great-grandchildren, Beau Hunter Blair, Hayden Hitt and Kyndall Hitt.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Blair and A. L. Blair; and by two sisters, Connie Beck and Linnie Rowland.

Interment will follow at the Taylor Cemetery in rural Essex.

Mrs. Spingler was united in marriage to James R. Bell on March 19, 2011, in Reddick, Florida. Mr. Bell survives at the home. She was employed as a Certified Nurses Aid and formerly resided in New York.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her parents, Thomas and Donna Spingler of Weedsport, New York; by five sons, Chris Hawkins-Bell of Bloomfield, Missouri, Ty Hawkins-Bell of Bloomfield, Missouri, James Jefferys of Bellview, Florida, Thomas Schmit of Cortland, New York, and Jonathan Jefferys of Cortland, New York; by one daughter, Danielle Schmit of Bellview, Florida; by one brother, Timothy Spingler of Weedsport, New York; and by two sisters, Diana Spingler and Christina Spingler, both of Weedsport, New York.

Stella Louise Simmons, daughter of the late Hershel and Katherine Tanner Akridge, was born in Gideon, Missouri on August 18, 1948, and passed away at her home in Catron on December 4, 2012, at the age of 64 years, 3 months and 16 days.
She had lived in St. Louis until moving to Catron 43 years ago. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Catron. She had operated Simmons Grocery and helped manage Melvin Simmons Used Cars.
On January 5, 1967, she was married to Melvin Simmons in St. Louis, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Melvin Simmons of Catron; three children, Gene Simmons and Shawn Simmons both of Catron, Tammy Whiffen of Matthews; two grandchildren, Matthew Simmons and Kyle Whiffen; 7 sisters, Gerry Koidan of Orville, California, Lola Barks of Dexter, Joyce Haddock of Waynesboro, Tennessee, Betty Lawson of Fordland, Missouri, Linda Parker of Independence, Missouri, Kathy Schaffer of Knoxville, Tennessee, Sherry Decker of New Madrid, Missouri; 4 brothers, Freddie Akridge and Earschel Akridge both of Catron, Wayne Akridge of Memphis, Tennessee, and Ricky Akridge of Hohenwald, Tennessee. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Joan Akridge, and one brother, Kenny Akridge.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Catron Baptisst Church in Catron, Missouri with the Rev. Jimmy Johnson of Portageville, Missouri officiating.
