
Joshua Allen Sandusky, son of Charlie Sandusky and Mayra Del Rios Dias, was born in Vieques, Puerto Rico on July 31, 1990, and passed away at his home in Dexter, Missouri on December 16, 2012, at the age of 22 years.
He had lived in many places while his father was in the military and had lived the past ten years in the Dexter, Missouri area. He had worked in construction and excavating. He attended the Word of Faith Church in Bernie, Missouri.
Surviving are his father, Charlie Sandusky of Dexter, Missouri; his mother & step-father, Mayra Dias & Lavoid McCrutchen of Laffayette, Georgia; two brothers, Anthony Sandusky of San Diego, California, Kenneth Sandusky of Laffayette, Georgia; his paternal grandfather, Billy Jack Sandusky of Dexter, Missouri. Other family and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Doris Jennings and his maternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held at on Wednesday December 19, 2012, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Dale Hartle of Bernie, Missouri officiating.

Nina Isabelle Sandusky, daughter of the late Virgil G. Allen and Viola Wheeler Allen, was born on August 14, 1939, at Portageville and departed this life at her residence at rural Dexter on December 15, 2012 at the age of 73.
Mrs. Sandusky was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter, a homemaker and a resident of rural Dexter.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth Sandusky on August 4, 1956, at Hernando, Mississippi. Mr. Sandusky survives of the home near Dexter.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Ken Sandusky of Little Rock, Arkansas; by one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Dennis Jackson of Bernie: by one brother, Tommy Allen of Parma: by three sisters, Ruth Lester of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Hazel Pickard of Bloomsdale and Betty Batson of Raleigh, North Carolina: and by one grandson, Charles Darren Jackson of Dexter.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Vernon Allen, Herbert Allen, Leroy Allen and Jimmy Doyle Allen; and by two sisters, Lilly Williams and Lois Paul.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M., Monday, December 17, 2012. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in the Sycamore Cemetery with Rev. Lonny Mittag officiating.

Herbert Dale Lacey, son of the late Reuben D. Lacey and Louise Crowell Lacey, was born on February 9, 1932, in rural Sikeston and died on December 15, 2012, at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 80.
Mr. Lacey was a member of The Church Of Christ, a former crane operator for Stupp Brothers Bridge and Iron Company in St. Louis, a member of King Solomon Masonic Lodge #95, a Shriner, a member of The Order of Eastern Star and a resident of Dexter, formerly of Imperial.
He was first united in marriage to Doris Ellis on September 8, 1951, at Piggott, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on October 2, 2001. He was then married to Joyce Wilson on July 6, 2002. Mrs. Lacey survives him of the home in Dexter.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Mike Lacey of Imperial, Missouri, Rick Lacey and wife, Carolyn, of Imperial, Missouri; by two step- daughters, DaRonda Wade and husband, Tom, of Diehlstadt, Missouri, and Brenda Mason and husband, Ted, of Dexter; by one brother, Jerry Lacey of Oakville, Missouri; by three sisters, Bernice Williamson of Denton, Texas, Peggy Barks of Dexter and Brenda Puricelli of Denton, Texas; by four grandchildren, Nichole Simos, Shannon Lacey, Jesse Lacey and Mikey Lacey; by four step-grandchildren, Brandon Wade, Shana Wade, Drew Mason and Luke-Ethan Mason and by five great-grandchildren, Tori Lacey, Chase Kirkpatrick, Eleni Simos, Alex Simos and Gabrial Lacey.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Lacey and Wayne Lacey.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 6:00P.M. until 8:00 P.M. He will then be taken to the Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, where friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Funeral services will then be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in the Kutis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Shepherd of the Hills Cemetery at Barnhart.

She married William Lee (Bill) West on December 6, 1951 in Piggott, Arkansas. Mrs. West along with her husband was the owner of Myers Rexall Drugstore in downtown Dexter and she also worked as a clerk in many downtown businesses. After the death of her husband she moved to Holden Missouri to live with her son and daughter in law the Revs. Jim and Brenda West. With them she also moved to Webb City, Windsor, Carrollton, and Saint Louis where she was an active participant in each of her son's churches until her health deteriorated and she moved to Potosi Manor in 2009.
She was a member of the Harmony United Methodist Church in Saint Louis and had been active in the United Methodist Women's Units of each church her son pastored.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, by her Brother Dennis Smith formerly of Chillicothe Illinois, and her sisters, Louise Evans and Melba Kildow formerly of Malden, Missouri.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law of Belgrade Missouri, by her grandson James J. West of Columbia Missouri, her sisters in law Donna West and Verna Blankenship, her brother in law and his wife Charles and Elenora West all of Dexter as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Services will be held in the Activity Building of First General Baptist Church of Dexter, Missouri at 11:00 a.m December 22, 2012. Those attending are invited to share a simple finger food meal with the family, and share remembrances of her. There will be a private inurnment of ashes at the Dexter Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.

James Richard Algood, son of the late James Harrison Algood and Altheline Harper Algood, was born on September 19, 1956, in Paducah, Kentucky, and departed this life at his residence in Dexter, Missouri, on December 13, 2012, at the age of 56.
Mr. Algood was a resident of Dexter, and he was a member of the Stokelan Drive Christian Church in Malden, Missouri. He was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and as a foreman at Noranda Aluminum in New Madrid, Missouri.
He was united in marriage to Debra Joy Tracer on June 30, 2001, in Malden, Missouri. Debra preceded him in death on August 25, 2010.
He is survived by one son, Jeremy Algood, of Bernie, Missouri; by one stepson, David T. Miller, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by one stepdaughter, Cara M. Dillinger, of Bernie, Missouri; and by two step-grandchildren, Nate and Alexa Dillinger.
Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Alan Dale Algood, and by one sister, Margaret Algood.

Interment will follow at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Palma, Kentucky.
